In the article, “Why Pro-Life”(MCCL 2019) I learned that human rights belong to all human beings, regardless of their age, size, ability, health, or dependency. Through scientific research fetuses are found to be human beings, therefore, they deserve equal human rights just like us. One of those human rights includes not being intentionally killed through abortion. Although there are many arguments for abortion, none of the arguments are justifiable for committing murder. Fetuses are innocent human beings who deserve equal human rights and protection from lethal violence. Unborn children may look different from older human beings, but appearance has nothing to do with value matter the circumstance abortion is wrong
I think that everyone is entitled to do what they want with their body. Telling you what to do with your body is not my place. Who am I to impose my views on someone else? It is ridiculous, in my opinion, that pro-lifers solely present the argument that abortion is murder while downplaying any reasons made in favor of the procedure. Many legitimate arguments exist in favor of abortion, but none of them have been thoroughly looked into. Instead of being biased, I believe you need to present both sides of an issue if you want people to truly listen to what you say.
As I continue to learn about abortion, I want to know why abortion is such a controversial topic.

Your post made me recognize the argument surrounding pro-life. I agree that Women are often misled about abortion and don’t think about that decision thoroughly. Although it is another person’s life, we shouldn’t interfere in that decision. Something I wonder is how a person feels after an abortion and if they regret it.

Your post made me think about how you may believe that pro-lifers beliefs are being forced upon others that are pro-choice but this goes both ways. However, I believe voicing your opinion is important and isn’t forcing it upon others because abortion affects everyone and because of this I find it’s important because when people share their beliefs out loud because it brings different perspective into the argument which are needed especially in a topic like abortion because banning or allowing abortion affects the world in one way or another. Something I wonder is people opinion in abortion has something to do with religous beliefs?

Your post made me think about how pro-lifers abortion in different ways due to the fact that fetuses may be seen as human beings themselves because they are fetuses who are being proceeded to become babies themselves and others should instead take this decision more seriously and think about it more thoroughly before making a decision.
