hazardous waste disposal

If you live in a developed nation, chances are companies in your country dispose of quite literally tons of hazardous waste products every day. Hazardous wastes include chemicals, medical waste, and electronic waste. Proper disposal is incredibly important because of the risk chemical waste poses to not only the environment but to lab workers, students, the environment, and residents who live in the surrounding areas of lab facilities. some short-term effects that can occur if the process isn’t done properly are water pollution, and the sickening of local animals and plants, but the long-term effects can cause mutation in animals, cancer and other diseases in humans, trash in waterways, and the destruction of many natural resources.
