Why am I lazy?

Who knows

Is it genetic?

Who knows

I know how important it is

But I still don’t do it.

I wonder why

But who knows.

This laziness was a problem

Not anymore

High School Changed,

So did my habit.

Laziness is no longer a thing,

so is procrastination.

Those days are over.

My soul can finally rest.

No more late homework,

nor fail assignments.

Hard work paid off.

Now I can sleep without worries.

Without thinking of school work, I now have a peaceful mind.

Laziness is finally out of my life for good.

It was about damn time.

Hi Saul, this is an interesting poem. Everyone wants to be lazy at many points in our lives. I think there are some reasons behind laziness. For example, too tied or not in a good mood. However, I am impressed by your resolution and hope you meet your goal.
Here is a article describing laziness and the reasons behind it from a psychological perspective: https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/hide-and-seek/201410/the-psychology-laziness
