This article states that many people are scared to make CRT a course that is taught in classes because many believe it will paint all white people as “Racist” This article calls them out by saying that thinking these things is simply a “gross exaggeration” and quiet blankly ignorant. Critical Race Theory is taught in schools to show that U.S social institutions such as the Criminal Justice System, Education System, Labor Market, Housing Market and Healthcare System is “laced with racism and embedded in laws, regulations, rules and procedures that leaf to. differential outcomes by race” By choosing to ignore these things we are creating bigger problems in the world. By starting from the very beginning when children are in school, we can teach them to understand these bans and to have their eyes open to casual racism that is happening in the world. This is why CRT is important because those who are not a POC, need to see the truth.
