In the article “White House Works to Ease Supply Chain Crisis” I learned that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the economy across the world. China and Vietnam two of the world’s largest ports closed due to the virus which greatly affects the reatainment of certain consumer goods. These shortages are becoming an even greater concern as we enter the holiday season. But the Biden administration is making efforts in order to resolve this problem.
I personally have seen shortages on certain consumer goods, but I didnt know it was due to some of the worlds largest ports closing. I hope this problem will be resolved as soon as possible. I wonder what we the people can do to contribute.
