In the dawn of day

We pray

We pray so our families feel safe

So that one’s happiness may not be overshadowed by anger and frustration

We pray to feel loved

And cherished

And to bring about certainty and prosperity in life

We conquer with love and warmth

Pureness which sets in the morning sunshine

Luminescing its warm glowing feel

Sparkling within our eyes

At the time, it feels like nothing can shatter our joy

No darkness lurking about

No feeling of uncertainty or fear

Just innocence and freedom roaming through the course of our veins

And the feeling of a cool summers breeze blowing against our face

And the sweet cotton candy smell of flowers sprouting from the ground

We have the power and control to do whatever our decisive poetic minds want

Our decisions impact the world, good or bad

But good will always trump evil intentions

And if mistakes occur

We will counteract with good intention

As long as we believe and feel the peace

We are one

We are the future

And when night falls

We pray once more

So that darkness doesn’t corrupt what little good we accomplished today

Tomorrow will be another day of believing and finding our inner peace

As we come together as missing puzzle pieces

Inspired by Amanda Gorman, “The Hill We Climb.”

Dear Dawning;

I am moved by your post, “We pray,” because I like the way you express your words in a poem but at the same time as a reflection. It seems like a reflection at the same time because you talk about how good a prayer is and the good fruits that it attracts.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “Tomorrow will be another day of believing and finding our inner peace.” I think this is inspiring because it motivates me that if you had a bad day today, maybe tomorrow will be the best day of all. Just as there are good days there are also bad ones and you should not be agitated by that.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I like this type of reading because apart from being a reflection type, it helps motivate you. Your phrases are a motivation that not because everything goes wrong means that evil wins, if today was not the day, maybe tomorrow it will be.

Dear dawning,
I am deeply touched by your poem, “we pray”because it is shows the struggles and joys of daily life.
one thing that really stood out to me is when you said, “But good will always trump evil intentions And if mistakes occur We will counteract with good intention  As long as we believe and feel the peace” this speaks to me because it shows that things are not always going to be perfect, we make miskates and mess up, but you just have to get up and persue with good intentions.
Thank you for sharing this, I look forward to seeing what you write in the future because I really enjoyed your poem.

I am fascinated by your poem, “We pray” because it captures the beauty and sensations that an individual may feel when they allow their thoughts to fill up with good thoughts while praying. This poem also demonstrates all the beneficial things that come out of praying.

One sentence that you wrote that stands out to me is, “ Our decisions impact the world, good or bad. But good will always trump evil intentions” I strongly agree with this statement because it is a fact in my eyes and I feel like people should have this kind of mindset. We have the ability to choose how our decisions affect our lives and their outcomes of them. Yes, sometimes things don’t go the way you planned it out to be or there are some days where you have bad days but the only things that matter is how you choose to perceive that thought or day and the way that you let it affect you. You should always be thinking positively and your poem perfectly captured this thought.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I was truly inspired by your poem and its beauty

Dear Dawning,

I am fascinated by your Poetic Writing “We Pay because it explains the happiness of one’s day, to feel love and prayed. With no intentions of darkness.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is, “As we come together as missing puzzle pieces”. I think this is a strong sentence because it pieces life to believing another day will be my accomplished day.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because its cool knowing what comes next. Somebody like you needs our feedback

Dear Dawning,

I am astonished by your post “We Pray” because it really makes me know someone feels the same way as I do when I am doing this. It really captivates me because everything you are saying I can relate to and when you can relate to something you feel a sense of conception which is what I felt when I first read this. Something that stood out to me specifically was when you said, “We have the power and control to do whatever our decisive poetic minds want Our decisions impact the world, good or bad But good will always trump evil intentions.” It is really beautiful the way you were able to put such powerful words into a sentence and have the message be very powerful.

Thank you for writing this amazing peace I hope to read more from you soon because your writing is beautiful and inspiring.
