This is my body. It’s unique to me.
From the hair on my head
To the nails on my toes
It all belongs to me
There’s no other like it
There’s no other that’s as wide
There’s no other that’s as tall
It tells the tale of my life
The tale of all i’ve been through
Every single part of me is a different page in this tale
They tell and show where i’ve been
They tell and show what i’ve done
They tell and show who i am
They show that i’m not Fat because i’m Big
They show that i’m not Dumb because i’m Black
They show that i’m not Dirty because i live in the Hood
All of them let everyone know one thing
A very very simple thing.
It’s that ’m the first and last me there will ever be.
