selective focus photography of maple tree

The red room in my old after school

Up the stairs and down the hall

Hidden in between walls it waits empty for our laughter to fill it

The red room in my old after school

That’s where my friends and I Would be

The red cushions and the vending machine

Brings back memories

It was like a sunny day

That never seemed to shine away

The red room in my old after school

I could be me, I could be happy

I was jolly as anyone could be
