My name is Eylin Lucia Sanabria Gómez. Since before I was born my parents were looking for my name since they knew she was a girl. My mother decided to give me my first name because she had always liked that name for a daughter. And my middle name was given to me by my father in honor of an aunt of his who unfortunately passed away and he loved her very much. Next to my first names are my surnames, which correspond to each of my parents.

My dad’s aunt was called Olga Lucia because she spent most of her childhood with my dad and my aunts loved her very much because she was a little brave but she took care of them and helped them do their homework, she taught them many manners. She had an illness and sadly died. It hit everyone hard, they named one cousin Olga after my Lucia’s aunt’s first name and another little cousin is also called Lucia.

Whenever I entered a school, when they heard my last name, they started calling me carrot as my nickname because it is very similar to Sanabria.
