a group of women holding signs and wearing masks
In the article “A year after the fall of Roe, 25 million women live in states with abortion bans or tighter restrictions’ (unknown 2022) I have learned that almost 1 in 3 had found themselves living in states where abortion was unavailable or severely restricted. This has affected many women around the world. Many women had to fly across just to get access to an abortion. On the other hand, many women’s health was put at risk for keeping a fetus that was unable to survive in a woman’s body.

As I continue my research about this topic I keep learning more and more. One thing that stood out to me the most is that a fetus that can’t survive in a woman’s body can harm the women yet abortion was a way to help them out. Now that some states don’t have this right it can be very different. Women should be able to do what they want and whenever they want.

Will I continue if this will ever be normalized?
