grey battle tank on road during daytime

Ukraine has tried establishing alliances with Western nations. Russia on the other hand has tried to maintain a relationship with Ukraine. In 2014, Russian forces occupied Dubas, a southeastern Ukrainian region that borders Russia. Ukraine’s independent government has resisted Russian annexations. With this being known, there has been a rise in the death of civilians resulting from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In 2021, Russia has sent 100,000 troops to the Russian-Ukraine border.

Russian tanks and guns have set their training ground 186 miles close to the border, it says in the text that they can invade Ukraine in the next few months. But according to Ukrainian President “Volodymyr Zelensky,” there was a plot to overthrow his government. Russia says they have done anything but wrong. The tensions rose because NATO gave weapons to Ukraine which threatens Russia’s security. Ukraine has built up its own military in a show of aggression against Russia. President Biden warned Russia if they invade Ukraine, the White House is prepared to retaliate with harsh economic consequences.

What do you think Biden should do?

Dear Rene,

I am impressed by your post “Tensions Rising between Russia and Ukraine”, because it is shocking to see how a country can go to war with others for no reason other than their leaders being angry. Putin has full control of Russia.

A sentence you wrote that stood out to me was, “President Biden warned Russia if they invade Ukraine, the White House is prepared to retaliate with harsh economic consequences.” This impresses me because Russia probably has no intentions on having a war against Russia.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because this is something very important for us.

Dear Rene:

I am impressed by your post, “Tensions Rising between Russia and Ukraine,” because it is informative on what’s going on in the world. How Ukraine has tried establishing alliances with Western nations. Russia on the other hand has tried to maintain a relationship with Ukraine.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “Russian tanks and guns have set their training ground 186 miles close to the border, they can invade Ukraine in the next few months.” I think this is terrifying because there has been a rise in the death of civilians resulting from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I like the information you give out.

Dear Rene:

I was impressed by your post, “Tensions Rising between Russia and Ukraine” because it was very informative. Also, this was very unexpected for the entire world. No one would have ever though that Russia would ever invade Ukraine.

A sentence you wrote that stood out to me was, “President Biden warned Russia if they invade Ukraine, the White House is prepared to retaliate with harsh economic consequences.” I think this is interesting because Russia also told the U.S that if they ever interfered in the war, they would have problems in Russia.

Thank you for your post. I look forward to other posts you upload in the near future. They are interesting to read about and very informative.

Dear Rene:

I am amazed by your post, “Tensions Rising between Russia and Ukraine”, because it is crazy that we are living in the world as this is going on. I liked that you added a little bit of background on how in 2014 Ukraine was trying to make allies with countries other than Russia, but Russia wanted to be allies with them and now looking forward to 2022 we see them in a very strange and scary situation for both of them.

A sentence that did stand out to me was “Ukraine has tried establishing alliances with Western nations. Russia on the other hand has tried to maintain a relationship with Ukraine”, because if they did become allies than none of this would have most likely not been happening. I find it interesting that thought Putin was the first to strike, but now wants this to end. Is it because he is “losing” the war or some other cause?

Thank you, Rene, for writing about this topic as it is hot news right now. I am always up to talk about these types of things because they are very interesting to me. I hope that you continue to post more about whatever the ending might be and your thoughts on everything.

Dear Rene:

I am surprised by your post, “Tensions Rising between Russia and Ukraine,” because it is surprising how after Russia tries to have a relationship with Ukraine they still want to attack them. It’s also surprising how there were some deaths and how Russia sent 100,000 troops to the border.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “President Biden warned Russia if they invade Ukraine, the White House is prepared to retaliate with harsh economic consequences.” I think this is important because who knows how this could end up due to these countries acting against each other.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I liked how you were able to give out this information. I would like to continue learning more about this topic and how things will end up.

Dear Rene:

I am shocked by your post, “Tensions Rising between Russia and Ukraine,” because it is interesting to know how the tension between Russia and Ukraine is not something new but is something that has been occurring for several years. It also stood out to me how the United States seems to have no intention in assisting Ukraine with this but instead only cares about the economic consequences that could result from this incident.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “With this being known, there has been a rise in the death of civilians resulting from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In 2021, Russia has sent 100,000 troops to the Russian-Ukraine border.” This is important as it demonstrates how there are actual deaths caused by this conflict as it seems that Russia has control over the whole situation.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I like the way that you explained the conflict and its results so far. I would like you to continue telling me about what is occurring around the world currently.

Dear Rene,

I am very intrigued about the current situation that Ukraine is facing with Russia. Reading “Tensions Rising Between Russia and Ukraine” made me think about how Russia claims Ukraine and they are trying to get it back, but Ukraine declared independence in 1991. Putin wants to make Russia as big as it used to be during the short time it was called the Soviet Union Putin is making it very clear that he wants it back, by sending 100,000 troops to the Ukraine border. That also stood out to me because if he really wanted to take Ukraine why take so long to do it?

What I think Biden should do is wait on Russia and if it gets to the point where Russia will fight anyone that helps Ukraine then I think we should be doing the same as Europe. We should be preparing for War. Russia is going to think they can take whatever they want.

Dear Rene
I am very impressed by reading “Tensions Rising between Russian and Ukraine”. It is interesting because you never know when it will happen. You don’t know if it will happen, but we will be prepared.
One sentence that stands out to me, is “Russia has sent 100,000 troops to the Russian-Ukraine border” This stands out because it is not a normal thing and it’s obvious that they are preparing for something big.
Thanks for your writing. I am looking forward to see what you have next because it is an interesting topic to talk about. I would like you to follow up.

Dear Rene,
I am very intrigued with your writing that is based upon the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine. It gives further information based upon the ideals of war slowly becoming a possibility.
I believe that it is very important for Americans to know of this issue because the nation does have the power to impact President Biden’s decision on how to help our allies (Ukraine).
Thank you for your writing. I can’t wait to see what other real-world issues you decide to write about next.
