In the article, “Starbucks looks to cut waste” I learned that starbucks is transitioning their regular cups and instead using reusable cups in all it’s U.S. and Canadian stores by 2023. Then Covid-19 happened and for the safety of baristas they stopped accepting reusable cups during the pandemic. Starbucks is now developing new strategies to eliminate paper cup waste. A strategy possibly being used could be customers might be allowed to pay a small deposit to borrow a reusable cup.
I think what starbucks is really cool and very interesting. I think that it is a very cool thing to do for the environment and eliminate as much waste as they can. They are looking for everybody they serve when doing this.
Do you think that this is a good idea?
