Dear Brian:

I am intrigued by your post, “Sleep, the Beauty of Sleep and How it Affects You!,” because, it connects very closely to my life.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “if not enough sleep is achieved then you may have a shorter life-span” I think this is important because as a 7th grader, I rarely get enough sleep, and this stood out to me because it alerted me to the consequences I could face from lack of sleep.

Another sentence that stood out to me was: “According to Health.com, “Article 11 surprising health benefits of Sleep” it states that “if more sleep is achieved then your Brain will improve in memory, you may live longer. These benefits come from sleep alone and all it takes is for you to go to bed early everyday and you will feel refreshed.” This stood out for me because not only did it hold important information, but it is a direct piece of evidence from a reliable source which proves the point you are trying to make.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because you write about interesting and important issues that can greatly impact people’s lives.
