Did you know that huge businesses like apple amazon and and even disney started off as small business. Hello my fellow readers, I’m Amran Taleb. For my senior project I’m doing research on business and how big businesses affecting the small businesses. One privilege that big businesses over small ones is that they can buy bigger potions which means they get it for cheaper, therefor sell it for less. I chose this topic because my family owns a small business so I personally see how big business affect the small ones.
A website called “Huffington Post” talks about how small businesses impact the community. There are three primary ways that small businesses contribute to our nation. They give people the opportunity to achieve financial independence, encourage innovation, and create employment opportunities.Massive companies starting in garages is a real thing too, and that’s how we ended up with Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Google, HP, and Disney.
I also found a film called “How are small business important.” Some key facts were that small businesses create most of the jobs in the usa. Small bus are the county main job creators because they often growing and looking for new markets to expand. To do so they need more employers. Unlike big bus who general stay the same hiring new employees to replace the older ones.
I also found an academic source called “The importance of small business to the economy.” It saids that a small business is one that is independently owned and operated, exerts little influence in its industry, and (with a few exceptions) has fewer than five hundred employees. There are more than 27 million small business in the USA. Small business is the portal through which many people enter the economic mainstream. Business ownership allows individuals, including women and minorities, to achieve financial success, as well as pride in their accomplishments.
There was also a new article from abc after hurricane Irma hit Florida. Governor Rick Scott is offering short-term, interest-free loans to small businesses that experienced physical or economic damage during Irma. He explains that Small businesses are the backbone of Florida’s economy, and families are depending on these businesses recovering as quickly as possible.
