In the article “COVID Vaccine Approved for Younger Children”(McGraw Hill) I learned that children under the age of 11 are now able to get the Coivd-19 vaccine. This is very good actually because kids are the ones that get sick more and especially during these times it gets hard. Roughly 28 million children are now eligible to get the vaccination. There’s no need to worry about them having too much or reacting badly to the dose because this dose contains about a third of the medicine that adults receive. They will also be receiving a second shot just like any regular adult.
Do you think this is a good thing that happened? Or do you think the age difference should be moved?I think this is a good thing because now parents like mothers don’t have to worry about their child getting sick from covid. Not only that but now kids are more protected from reviving covid, it might not be a big difference but a little bit of that dose still helps protect people. I’m sure no one wants to get COVID and it would be scary just imagining a kid getting covid because now their life is at risk.
I’m so glad that children are now able to get the vaccine, it’s just a matter of whether or not they will want to get it!
I’m very thankful that the vaccine has been extended to children but now we need people to get vaccinated.
Dear Felipe:
I am amazed by your post ¨Protecting Children from COVID¨ because like how you said children are more likely to get sick. I agree that mothers don´t have to worry about their children getting covid now that the vaccine is more accessible for younger children.
One sentence you wrote that stands out to me is: “I’m sure no one wants to get COVID and it would be scary just imagining a kid getting covid because now their life is at risk.” This is true because children get very sick and it’s scary/sad to see them sick.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I like how you provided information from a source and gave your opinion on Covid. Your post was informative.

Dear Felipe:
I am very impressed by your article “Protecting Children from COVID”, as it is surprising that children are now eligible for vaccinations and protected. Parents should see this and take action and vaccinate their kids, but it’s also scary because we don’t know how they’re going to react. Everybody is different but it’s a good thing if they do get it because they will be able to fight the deadly virus going around.
One sentence you wrote that touched me was “In the article ‘Approved COVID Vaccine for Children’ (McGraw Hill), I learned that children under 11 years of age can now get the Covid19 vaccine.” This is a big plus for them. I think it’s amazing and wonderful that kids under 11 now could receive the dose.
Thanks for your article, I look forward to what you write next as you are very informative. I love reading about what’s going on in the world and their updates on things.

Dear Felipe,
I am completely on your side on the COVID-19 cases. I am flattered upon reading your post, ¨Protecting children from COVID¨ because you gave good reasons as to why this is a great thing. I also think that if we can allow our children to get the flu shot, a covid vaccine should not be much different.
The sentence that stands out to me is: ¨I think this is a good thing because now parents like mothers don’t have to worry about their child getting sick from covid.
Thank you for writing. I look forward to what you write next because I feel as if we have the same ideals. Have a great day!
Dear, Ivan.
Dear Felipe
I completely agree! Its good that kids under 11 are getting the covid vaccine because then we have a better chance of putting this virus in the past. We need to start protecting everyone and we do that by getting kids vaccinated.
Dear Felipe :
I am amazed by your post “Protecting children from COVID”, because it is surprising that kids are now eligible to take the vaccine and be protected. I think it is amazing but also scary because we don’t know how they are going to react to it. Dear Felipe,
I´m completely on your side in regards to this being a progression in lessening the COVID-19 cases. I am satisfied upon reading your post, ¨Protecting children from COVID¨ because you gave good reasons as to why this is a great thing. I also think that if we can allow our children to get the flu shot, a covid vaccine should not be much different!
A sentence that stands out to me is: ¨I think this is a good thing because now parents like mothers don’t have to worry about their child getting sick from covid.¨ I think this is a great perspective to consider, if we want the best for our children we must advocate for things that will protect them.
Thank you for writing. I look forward to what you write next because I feel as if we have the same ideals. Have a great day!

Dear Felipe,
I completely agree with you that this is a great advancement. It is important for us to protect the next generation. We want our youth to prosper in the future. In response to “Not only that but now kids are more protected from reviving covid, it might not be a big difference but a little bit of that dose still helps protect people,” I also really agree. A little bit of change can go a long way and a little bit of dose is great to protect someone. I am providing you with a link to the CDC recommending the vaccine for children age 5-11. Thank you for spreading light to help others stay safe.

This is a great advancement! I agree. This will hopefully help us to finally put this pandemic behind us. I like your inclusion of the question and a direct answer. I hope the age requirement gets younger and younger.
I agree with your point that it is important that kids get the vaccine. In some states in the U.S. there was an increasing number of positive tests that came from the younger populations. It is extremely beneficial if kids were getting the vaccine and prevent younger populations from getting the sickness.
I agree with your point that it’s really good that children under 11 are now able to get the vaccine. Because children are more often than not the carriers of COVID and just don’t know it, it’s increasingly important that they are protecting not only themselves but those around them.
Dear Felipe, I found it interesting that now children under 11 are able to get the vaccine because many people who have children under that age can now feel better knowing their kids are safe. It is good that children can be safe from Covid now, I’ve seen many cases on the news of children getting sick of covid, and now that many of them are able to get the vaccine they can be safe.
This part stood out to me ¨There’s no need to worry about them having too much or reacting badly to the dose because this dose contains about a third of the medicine that adults were receiving¨ many parents have worries about how the vaccine works so knowing that the dose has a third of the medicine can make their worries go away.
Felipe, especially in the times that we are in this is a huge topic that we need to talk about! Especially now with the new variant out there, it’s super important for everyone that can get the first couple doses to get them! Although children are more resilient and tend to be healthier and react less to the virus than adults it is imperative they get the vaccine too! This leads to fewer ICU beds being taken up. I’m ecstatic children can now get the vaccine and I hope parents take them to get it! Thank you for bringing this topic to light and I can’t wait to read more of your work!
