In the article, “CAREERS:Podcaster” (BTW) I learned that A podcast is a series of digital audio files that a listener can access on the internet and download, typically available as a series. Podcasts are cheap and easy to produce; this is why people go into this field . Podcasters can earn money from their podcasts by selling ad time. Advertising rates range from about $25 to $50 per 1000 listeners, so the more listeners you have, the more money you can make from ads. Although it is an easy job to some people they do make money so you´ll be financially stable.
I think what is happening is that they give pros and cons about being a podcaster. Being one is tricky there are many factors you have to consider like who has access to your podcast and who doesn’t, which can sometimes get messy in terms of people taking each other’s copyrighted material.However The photograph they used in their article goes well because it shows what the article was based on.
