Othello
1.3.208-218
I am voicing Desdemona. I learned that hearing the words in your head and out loud make understanding the reading much easier because it comes to life that way, instead of just being words on a page. I learned that Desdemona was trying to tell her father in a calmed and collected way that she was no longer the most faithful to him. She was trying to keep a balance between respect for authority and independence.
