The play I chose was Othello. I chose to recite from act 1, scene 3, lines 208-218 and played the character of Desdemona. While doing this assignment, I learned the tone of her voice has to be respectful because she is talking to her father, but she is also wanting him to understand that she is not going to give up her husband. When I was recording I learned that there were certain words I would put emphasis on to make a greater point of what she was saying.
