Online schooling is something that we are all facing at this very moment. Some people really dislike it and others are enjoying it a lot. Both sides have their reasons and it might be conflicting to explain.
“Online learning transcends the realm of higher education.” That argument is actually very valid, since when things are online many worries disappear and human error. Giving classes in person might reflect in sometimes getting a little bit held back, people get sick, pandemics happen, cars break, a lot of things can happen during presence learning that don’t necessarily happen during online. Online learning has the advantage of flexibility, saving money, fitting things into one’s schedule, and other advantages.
Some of the disadvantages are that it involves a lot more discipline for people, procrastination is a real thing after all. The student may miss opportunities such as, “the wholesome experience of graduating with a ‘class’”. That is something very important and it comes with a lot of memories. Students that do online learning miss out on opportunities such as prom, graduation and school clubs. By missing out on those some students might end up with certain difficulties at socializing.
Online learning is not for everyone and the fact that we all have a taste of it emphasizes it a lot more.
