Walk to the Park
I am a magnolia tree in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. I look out over the neighborhood and other trees. I’m mostly lonely at night time but when the sun comes up people start to come. I see people doing their morning walk or groups of people doing exercise. When it is the after noon that is when it’s busy. People start to come out of school and start to play and sometimes people come to picnic or just to throw birthday parties. Kids will play around.

Audio

At Iglesia en Cristo somes uno. A man named Henner Velasquez is a member. He helps the church by setting up the audio and making sure the mics work well. He also attends all of the meetings and bible studies. Henner Velasquez is standing beside the audio mixers when the people are getting ready to begin. There are people dressed nicely and comfortably.

Praying for the People

It is early in the morning with not too many people outside of Sunset Park. Two people from the church stand beside the stanger and pray for him. Another church member is holding the baby to calm him down. I wonder what they are praying for and telling the man. I wonder what the man was doing around the area.  The church members want to help people in the community, whether they know them or not.
