My name is Yamiled Acevedo Morales. One thing I hate doing is to keep on repeating myself over and over again. I was born in the united states. And I have been living here my whole life. A turning point in my life was when my mom’s grandpa passed away. This was a turning point in my life because I realized that she migrated to the United States to get a better life. And because of this, she didn’t get to say goodbye to her grandpa. I try to do better for her because I know how many years she has stayed here. How hard she works every day to get my siblings and me anything we want and need. It encouraged me to do better than I was last year ago. She might not even be able to see her parents all because she sacrificed everything to give us a better life.
Three of my strengths in life is being a hard worker. All though things can be difficult. I keep on pushing myself up. I can be good at listening and giving out advice. My work in progress is to speak up when I need help with something. My greatest achievement is passing middle school. Most of the time I would get in trouble for many reasons. One of them was for coming in late to class. My goal is to get good grades this year.
About a year ago I lost my grandpa. And that was the worst because that was the first time I saw my dad cry. I always wanted to meet him. But I didn’t get the chance to. We would just face time which was one of the best things I liked because he was funny.
