Dear Chyna,

I am digging your beat, “Metal Twist,” because it has a nice, driving and crunchy groove. I like that, as you mentioned, the forward propulsion happens in the bass more than any other instrument.

One part that stood out to me was around the :34 mark, when the bass stops momentarily, only to come back in again with its thematic melody.

Another part that I liked was around the minute mark, which is when the guitar switches from muted tones to long notes. This stood out for me because it provided a nice contrast with the rest of the arrangement.

What did you use to compose your beat? Have you ever heard of the software propellerheads Reason? It’s what I use for music production. You can check that out here: https://reasonstudios.com/. I thought you might be interested in this because it’s a DAW that allows full control over every aspect of the sound that you could ever need and more.

Thanks for making this. I look forward to seeing what you make next because if it’s anything like this one, it’ll have that gritty metal ethos that I like. Let me know if you’re interested in learning more about making these types of beats as I have experience with it.
