My favorite phrase to say is “Really Tho.” It is my favorite phrase to say because you can say it on different occasions, like when you are discussing something serious and someone says anything that is a fa
you seem like the type of person i would hang out with to joke around a lot. i find it funny because the things people from New york and people from Cali have different sayings. you use “really tho” and we say ” foreal” . its kinda cool knowing the slangs other people use even though its a litteral word, it can be used for so many things.
I am ambivalent about your beat/instrumental called “ That hot f!re” because your beat doesn’t have a catchy side. And also because your beat doesn’t change at all throughout the whole 50 seconds of the beat.
One part of your beat that stands out for me is where you added another sound into the beat. I think that sound wasn’t…[Read more]
I’m looking at an image that says a lot. It refers to cops shooting innocent African American people and people shooting each other. I agree with this image because there is too much violence in the street.
In my thoughts, this woman is trying to inform the world that using mascots means something bigger and its hurting her and her culture because in the image she said “ I am a descendant of a warrior who su
In my thoughts, I think these women are protesting how they don’t get treated equally as men. Because women don’t get paid the amount the same amount that the men do. In the news I saw something familiar like thi
I think that this image is language discrimination becuase every one should be equal. American doesn’t have an official language, people from all over the world come to America speaking different languages to
I completely agree with you. People come to America to pursue their American-Dream, but when they get here they don’t have the same opportunities as others do nor do they dominate the english language making it harder on them to learn and communicate. I think this image is warning people to not text and drive because it can lead to an accident. I agree with this image because yes it causes a lot of crashes and some people end up dead because people want to be

I completely agree with you that deforestation is bad for all living things including us! It is sad to think how many thousands of acres we as humans have destroyed in such a short amount of time. I found this article which also has a video showing more reasons why deforestation is happening and is bad. I hope you enjoy! https://www.livescience.com/27692-deforestation.html

This is a youth-powered publishing platform that was started in 2003 by a group of teachers from local sites of the National Writing Project.
We merged several earlier blogging projects. We have found that there are many advantages to bringing students together in one site that lives beyond any particular class. It’s easier for individual students to read and write about their own passions, to connect with other students, comment on each other’s work, and create multimedia posts for each other. Further, it’s been exciting for us to pool our knowledge about curriculum, connected learning, and digital literacies.
There are over 8,000 posts and over 13,000 comments by young people on the site on topics as diverse as the American Dream, Shakespeare, and sports as well as original poems and stories.
Youth Voices is a platform for youth to write about their interests, both in school and outside of school: what they are reading, what their hobbies or future careers might be, what they enjoy in their spare time. Like all of us, students follow our national leadership and form opinions. They are also welcome to write about those topics as well.
Youth Voices is fully non-partisan and welcomes youth of all types, from all regions, and with all viewpoints. Educators support youth in writing and thoughtfully responding to each other through the use of commenting guides, using tags to show common interests, playlists to support self-guided inquiry; opinions expressed by writers are their own.
If being part of such a community makes sense to you, we invite you to join us. We welcome all youth and any teacher interested in having students publish online and participate in the give and take of a social network like Youth Voices.
