Hi Ricardo! I thought what you wrote was extremely interesting. We talked about this problem in my Oceanography class and took a look at how much plastic is really in the oceans. It’s shocking how much waste we humans have thrown away and how it is still impacting us, even if it is no longer in our possession. The amount of marine life that is harmed by this problem is huge and it affects us as well, like you said,, because we eat some of that plastic when we eat seafood. I agree that we should reduce our use of single-use plastics. It’s not only better for the environment but it is also cleaner.

Hi Ricardo, Your post was very interesting to read. I agree with your views on single use plastics and how they must be reduced. I like how you listed all the wrong types of single use plastics and than wrote the other ones we could use to reduce our footprint. Single-use Plastic
- June 23, 2019
Hey Ricardo,
I agree with you in saying that single use plastics should be reduced to the minimum. However, your solution to this problem is what society has been doing for a long time, but the change is not dramatic enough. To see noticeable change, people need to stop using plastics and that make them should find cleaner ways to make it and cleaner ways to make more eco-friendly bottles.
