I agree Covid-19 has affected everyone in the world. This pandemic has caused a lot of problems for many and some companies even benefited from this. Mask became a high demand so a lot of companies began selling and making masks to distribute. Slowly we will fight through this pandemic but our lives might not be the same.

One sentence you wrote that stood out for me is ¨Last year was when it all began, this virus spreading across the country, state to state. It’s a new year now and many things have changed, the virus is still taking the lives of many people. ¨ It stood out to me because it’s already been a long time already since the virus has started and it’s still continuing this year and in fact taken a ton of people’s lives which is sad.

One sentence you wrote here that stands out for me is “You are helping them also, less patients, less loss, and the world can get back to”normal. ” I agree with you here that many live were affected because of covid and it really has changed us. I feel as if life is for risky now, we have to be very careful with the virus out there and sometimes you won’t even expect it if you suddenly have it. Masks and social distancing really are the only thing we can do now to stay away from others who might have it, we really have no option if we wanna stay away from covid. Thank you for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because these are some of the things I find interesting.

Hey Selena I liked what you talked about us playing our part on lowing the spread of the virus. All health care workers are indeed working extra hours because of this pandemic but them wearing a mask for 12+ hours is really really annoying. Helping those at high risk is very beautiful during these tough times. Covid-19 is going to be around still probably for another year or 2 we just got to get used to it and keep going in life no matter what bumps are in front of us. Everyone uses Covid-19 as an excuse but those who don’t are very special.

Hi Selena,
Your post really caught my attention because it is related to the terms of today when many families have been the target of abuse and racism.
I agree with what you say, “No are the American people supposed to be united as one?” This means that the United States is being torn apart little by little by the citizens and more by the whites who are rich who believe that they are everything for all the amount of money they have.
According to your post, “Criminal justice, housing, education, wealth, health all have staggering rates of inequality.” I agree with you, Selena when you say that “this creates disadvantages for people of color due to inequalities” because people of color do not really have all the advice to be able to do themselves or have a better future for their relatives. I think that in truth the United States is not this way, but the world is dividing for reasons of money and racism.
In your writing, Selena, you ask: “Have you ever profiled someone for racial reasons?”
My answer: Do you mean like looking for conflict and information about that person? Really? Nope!
You also ask: “Has anyone ever racially profiled you?”
My answer: Do you mean, for example, someone being racist toward me? Things like this never come to my mind, so no.
You also write, “That’s the problem in this generation, there is no equality or lack of judgment.” I believe that you really mean everyone. If we are the same and that some have many bad thoughts and that others are very good to be in this corrupt world.

Dear Selena :
I am moved by your post, “Why are we divided?,” because this post
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “Criminal justice, housing, education, wealth, health, have astonishing rates that show inequality.” I think this is interesting because America is supposed to be the country of the free and this inequality says otherwise.Another sentence that I saw was: “After many Black Americans died by police, some communities feel as if do not belong.” This stood out for me because the people that are protecting citizens should not shoot innocent citizens.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because…

Dear Selena,
I am intrigued by your post since the topic you chose could be taken in different ways. The title and photo match very well.
One thing you said that stands out for me is: “Aren’t the American people supposed to be united as one?” I think this is important because history has proven otherwise. It seems as if the country isn’t stable.
Your post reminds me of our current situation like you have stated. Race is something that should be a priority of everyone even if you are not a minority. It is really sad that some people are not willing to help the problem.
Thanks for your project. I look forward to seeing what you write next because you are able to show interest into your research. I hope you could make a follow up to this post in the future. -
Hi Selena,
This post really caught my attention because this is a huge issue that America faces today. I agree with the topics and the several questions you brought up, such as, “Aren’t the American people supposed to be united as one? “. This question is a huge one that we still haven’t found the answer to. We all come from different backgrounds and situations, but it seems that the system has a bias against people of color. We’re supposed to be a country that invites all people to come together and be united, but it’s the complete opposite for a majority of us.Thank you for taking your time and writing this article, it gives insight into a bigger problem that affects us all.

Selena,
Thank you so much for this post! You raise a lot of interesting points regarding whether a person is considered an adult at 18 or 21 including voting and drinking age. In my opinion, adulthood is a mindset instead of an age. You touched on this when you referred to it as a “trajectory” where environmental factors have most of the impact on one’s emotional maturity. An interesting conversation that could come from this is “How can government officials accurately determine the average age of emotional maturity in order to base their policies off it it?” This post gave me the motivation to research this and determine how an American can go to war and give their life for their country at 18 but not drink until 21. In any case, this is a great post and I look forward to hearing more of what you have to say! Good job!

Dear Selena,
I am very motivated by your post, “Save The World,” because you made it a point by saying that when using less plastic, pollution percentage decreases. I think people people should stop littering because it is affecting the environment.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is “We want healthy air and and clean surrounding when we go out to places.” I think that everyone can relate to this because it is the safety of our bodies and also we should all want the best when it comes to the environment.
Thanks for writing, I look forward to seeing what you write next. I liked the fact that at the end of your post, you made some suggestions on how to save the world from plastic.

Dear Selena,
I am interested in your post because pollution is a big problem and we need more voices speaking out on it like you. People should help the environment as a community.
One sentence you said that stands out for me is “It also uses 8% of oil resources in production and after its thrown away, it remains toxic to the environment.” I think this is sad because everybody uses plastic bags and for plastic bags to be this toxic to the environment is disgusting.
Thanks for your project I look forward to seeing what you write next because your project can and will teach a lot of people about saving the Earth

Dear Selena,
I am attentive about your post , “Save The World,” because we live in a society where people don’t take care of their environment.
One sentence you wrote that struck out for me is: “ We want healthy air and clean surroundings when we go out to places.” I think this is extremely critical because we have a lot of global warming, climate change, and pollution . There are countries that suffer from pollution because the air they are living in is not healthy for the body.
Another sentence that I totally agree with and that everyone should be following is ; “There are many more ways to save from using plastic. I encourage everyone to not litter and recycle.” This stood out for me because , like I said before there are people that don’t take care of their environment. For instance, like what Selena wrote about littering; there are people that litter and not recycle and that is how it is affecting our world.
I do certainly agree with you that we need to save our world . One reason I say this is because it is not healthy for our body . For example, more than 250,000 people may die each year due to climate change.Another reason I am with you , because when you wrote, “It also uses 8% of oil resources in production and after it’s thrown away, it remains toxic to the environment.” This sentence broke my heart because it’s sad to see that the only way we use plastic bags is to affect our environment in a very toxic way.
I think you will also be interested in articles about saving the world . Like have you seen this https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwi6srCfy6DsAhWKl3IEHcjsDIEQFjACegQIBRAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.livescience.com%2F64535-climate-change-health-deaths.html&usg=AOvVaw2NlUnt05M58bkZNct_ksK8. I thought you might be interested in this because you wrote about the terrible environment we are living in .
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I loved that you wrote about the world. I hope that I will be able to see more of your amazing work about saving our environment. The reason why I will come back and see your work because not a lot of people talk about saving our world and that is the most important part. -
I thought the article you focused on explained a very important issue in our society. I think it is important for people like you and me to try to decrease the use of plastic, but we should also push for large corporations to adopt more eco-friendly ways of production. Our own decrease of plastic use will help save our planet, and if we all push for businesses to “go green” we can make an impact on saving our environment.
-
Dear Selena,
I already live by all of the suggestions in the article. That’s some good advice you give! However. I often worry that reducing current plastic usage is not enough. There is so much plastic already in the oceans and other waterways, I often wonder whether we need to more heavily invest in methods of removing plastic from our ecosystem. Hopefully we can find a solution to this issue or it may dog us for centuries. -
Hi Selena. You bring up a topic that has been discussed, warned about, and dismissed over the last few decades. The solutions you offer are proven to work actions more people should be taking. The main problem is indecisiveness of humans to act on these type of issues. That is a repetitive behavior that has been in human nature ever since the start of modern societal structures. The main question here seems to be: Are all humans willing to put in the effort for a cause that doesn’t benefit them in the short term? The answer at the moment seems to be no. Hopefully the issue becomes a frontline problem in the near future so more attention and exaggeration of the topic prompts more people to take action.

I am impressed by your post, “people of color no equality”because you don’t have to judge other people by their color because god isolates un like that and nobody has to try to make other people feel bad because they are not the same color.one sentences you wrote that stands out for me is” Equality is all the colored people want, they do not want to be seen differently compared to Hispanic, White, Asian, or whatever the race shown by color. I think that’s amazing because you don’t even have to judge another person because they are not the same color as you.

Why are we divided?
- November 20, 2020
I can agree that Covid-19 has really affected many people in different ways. It has changed our lives, but despite all the downfalls, there are many great things that Covid-19 has brought to us. One thing to be appreciative about is each other. As the article states, people are “making masks and buying groceries for those at high risk.” In our own way and any way possible, we are helping each other get through this pandemic. Our lives might not go back to how they used to be, but at the very least we have that, a life to live; another thing to be grateful about.
