  • Dear Janet,
Your post made me think about how gender can be a leading driver of gun violence since the statistics show the opinions. It also made me think about the way people perceive gun violence with “it’s the people”. I wonder what the stats are on real gun violence but with gender.

    Reasons for abortion

In the article, ”What are the different reasons to have an abortion?” (Nicholas 2022) I learned many individuals have their own reasons concerning why they go through a fetus removal, whether they're sensible or not. Moms go through monetary,...

    • Dear Sarah P.,’
Your post made me think about the struggle it is to be a woman because of the constant judge from others because of the choices they make . Something I wonder is why you believe women should get punished for not wanting to bear a child, are you pro life? or pro choice?

      Sincerely,
      Katie M

    • Dear Sarah,
Your post made me think about a different perspective concerning abortion. When it comes to a mother’s health condition, I think it would be a difficult choice to make if it had come down to choosing the mother’s life or the baby’s life. Something I wonder if you think there is a right and wrong choice for a decision like this?

      Sincerely,
      Cindy Garcia

    • Dear Sarah,’
Your post made me think about all the children who get terminated for no reason. Your perspective on abortion is something I agree with because I do believe there are some reasonable reasons why women abort. Something I wonder is why women try to excuse their termination by just not wanting a child.

      Sincerely,
      Hilary

    • Dear Sarah,
Your post made me think about the reason mother’s choose to have an abortion. The public often shames the mother’s for getting an abortion but do not think about the circumstances the mother is in. Something I wonder is how does a mother who wants to have abortion finally come to that decision.

      Sincerely,
      Sienna Ruiz

    • Dear Sarah,
Your post made me think about those who think differently about abortion. I do agree with you in some aspects because women may have different reasons as to getting an abortion. Something I wonder is if people think that women should get punished for abortion?

      Sincerely,
      Abigail

    • Dear Sarah,

Your post made me think about who thinks differently about abortion. Like everyone said I do agree with you on some things because they have reasons for getting an abortion. Something I wonder is if people think that women should get punished for what they are doing.

      SIncerely,
      Rey

    • Dear Sarah,

Your post made me think about the controversy regarding abortion. I agree with the fact that criminalizing abortions aren’t stopping anyone from having an abortion. There are many situation where abortion is considered reasonable. Something I wonder is how much of the me population are the ones saying abortion should be illegal?

    History of abortion in American

In the article,” Historical Abortion Law timeline:1850 to Today” I learned about how abortion has developed over the years. The first timeline kicked off with the explanation of how men had the rights over what women were able to...

    Why was abortion overturned?

In the article,” Planned Parenthood” I learned that overturning this law had many effects on groups of people, and ways were turned to forcefully get the law overturned. This situation started back in 1973 and it legalized the right...

    • I fully agree that the government can be slightly shady in times. Roe v. Wade is a classic example of this. It feels as if we went back in time, reversing the good laws put in place. This was for sure a result of the elected republicans, against abortion. Learning the origin of abortion is very important in educating yourself about this matter, and knowing all the facts behind what you may fight for. Protect Women’s Rights!!!

    • Hi Sarah! Throughout history, government officials have had their fair share of tyranny and “shady” behavior. The overturning of Roe V. Wade is a prime example of this. I am glad that you expressed how women’s rights, specifically abortion rights, are not a new issue. Making abortions illegal does not stop them, it simply creates dangerous situations for the women who need them. Women’s bodies and what they do with them should not be a political discussion! I found This article that is great if you want to learn more about the origin of abortion and contraception rights.

    • Dear Sarah,
Your post makes me think deeply about abortion. Abortion being overturned like you said was very “shady”. Something I wonder about is what was the ratio decision made by the courts?

  • Dear Riudy
I am shocked by your post, “The Murder Animal Mystery” because I was unaware that animal murders or mass murders were an existent crime.

One sentence you wrote that stood out to me was “‘The donut delivery guy?”‘ I think this is a clever added detail because as you’re reading the text you dont expect a complete turn of events.…Read More
