    • Dear Monica,

I really enjoyed your post, “Positive Comments”, because it is very known how social media causes people to constantly compare themselves which causes insecurities. So, it’s very nice to hear that in Asia people are flooding the comments with nice compliments.

One sentence you wrote that stands out to me is: “But it is unfair that people have to be paying for good comments. People also have to stop making bad comments to people because it makes them feel bad about themselves. But at the same time, these comments make people feel good about themselves by receiving positive comments.” I think this is very true because it’s sad that people have to pay for these good comments, it should be something that everyone should receive instead of hateful comments.

Thank you for writing, I look forward to seeing what you write next because this was very interesting to hear about.

    • Dear Monica,

I am inspired by your post “Positive Comments” because it talks about people making groups inspire people. This will help people in life.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “…in Asia, there is a new trend that is trying to spread positivity to people.” I think this is important because the better in life the better the possibilities.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I love seeing positive vibes around the world. The better side is what I Prefer to say and see.

    • Dear Monica,

I am inspired by your post “Positive Comments” because the internet has a lot of advantages that people don’t use. They prefer to spread bad comments then try to help others. Also, cyber-bullying is one of the most common things that is happening today.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “They do this to make people feel good by not receiving bad comments.” I think this is helpful because people have a lot of insecurities and don’t help with their Mental Health. Teenagers have a lot of insecurities and are don’t help their minds to read some comments that are giving bad things.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I like the article that you read and you based to explain more things that are happening in these moments. Also is good to know how other people are trying to change people’s minds.

    • Dear Monica, I am moved by your post “Positive comments” because it is extremely rare nowadays to see individuals being kind to one another on social media. Not only that, but even in real life, there is still a lot of bullying and discrimination that goes on.
One sentence you wrote that stands out to me is, “…in Asia, there is a new trend that is trying to spread positivity to people.” A lot of the time when people are involved in trends they are not for the best. They do not consist of making people feel loved and inspired. To make being kind and spreading positivity a trend is one of the best things in the world and best feeling when you are not only the one spreading it, but also receiving it as well.
Thanks for your writing, I look forward to seeing what you write next because your posts are very interesting and help me learn about different things that are going on in the world.

    • Dear Monica,

I am influenced by your post, “Positive Comments” because many people compare themselves to others on social media. I think people shouldn’t be comparing themselves to others because we’re all beautiful in our own ways.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “In Asia, there is a new trend that is trying to spread positivity to people.” I think this is helpful because it’ll help people feel good about themselves. It all helps spread kindness and love throughout one another.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because this is an interesting topic to talk about. I also think it’s something people should pay more attention to.

    • Dear Monica,

I really appreciated your post, “Positive comments” because it tells us how much of an impact saying a positive comment towards someone can help them. Although I find it really sad that there’s people out there paying for a positive comment. I feel as though they should be given free without requesting them.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “But it is unfair that people have to be paying for good comments. People also have to stop making bad comments to people because it makes them feel bad about themselves.” I think this is important because we need to be aware on how much a negative comment can hurt someone.

Thank you for your writing. I look forward to reading what you write next because this one was really an eyeopener.

    • Dear Monica,

I am impressed by your post,” Positive comments” because positive comments are significant in people’s lives. Also because there are people who enjoy putting others down and just don’t care what they say even if it may be hurtful. Nowadays online you will often see many negative comments towards others for simply no reason at times. That is not okay because at the end of the day there is someone behind the screen whose those words and bad comments hurt them. People should be more kind and bring each other up not put each other down.

One sentence you wrote that stood out to me was ” On the Chinese internet users have recently begun turning to so-called “praising groups,” where they can pay to be flooded with compliments.” This sentence stood out to me because I think that having praise groups would be significant throughout social media. I also thought that it was a good and bad thing since they are getting paid to do this, on the good it would be that it’s an easy and great way to make money but then again people are getting paid to do it. Although I do think it is a great start to spread positivity. We should often be kind to others and leave good comments towards them.

I believe that spreading positivity would create a positive impact on social media and teach people to be kind to one another. Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I agree with you on spreading positivity and making others smile instead of putting them down.

    • Dear Monica,

I appreciate your “Positive comments” post because this world needs to be more positive. There are cruel people in this world that are so negative they put there negativity on other people. I think if more people see things like this they’ll be more positive.

One thing you wrote that stood out to me is “I learned that social media is often blamed for making people feel bad about themselves but in Asia, there is a new trend that is trying to spread positivity to people.” This stood out to me because social media is all negative, its just people criticizing other people. Maybe everybody should try and start making positivity a trend like in Asia.

I strongly believe that if the world was more positive everybody would be more successful. I think more people would be trying and less people would give up. Thanks for writing about positivity. I look forward to looking at what you write next and I hope its another positive subject.

    • Dear Monica,

I am interested in your topic about people having to buy compliments because this is capitalism at its finest. Having to get validation for random people based on pay isn’t as genuine as you think it is. It has a great impact on someone’s self-esteem creating a more validation-seeking environment. Since this is something that uses the money to buy compliments can give that person a hard time with also managing money too. I think people should physically interact with one another instead of doing it online, getting no social interaction.

Although this creates a positive environment online, this uses people’s money on something they could get in real life. A lot of people can be kind in person for free and genuinely mean it. Having to pay for a bit of validation gives that person only a limited amount of options. Like, say they see people giving the same compliments and it isn’t something they can relate to. Compliments come from a genuine interest in that person and how they are as a person. It makes them feel more seen.

Thank you for writing about this online chat about how people buy compliments, I look forward to reading more about what people do with the internet.

    • Dear Monica:

I am touched by your post, “Positive comments,” because I found it interesting how there are people that are willing to pay certain amounts of money to be complemented with positive comments. This makes me wonder if social media is the problem when it comes to negative comments and to what extent are these negative comments affecting someone that they are willing to pay to be complemented.

One sentence you wrote that stood out to me is: “I think it’s a good idea because millions of people daily receive bad comments about themselves. But it is unfair that people have to be paying for good comments.” I agree with this statement as it demonstrates how people nowadays have become less social with each other because of the internet. With no social interaction between people, there won’t be friendships or trusts formed, and usually, when posting or saying something on the internet you are more than likely to be told something negative about it.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to reading what you write next because I enjoyed the way you described the topic with us. I would like you to continue telling me more about what is being done towards the better of these problems.

    • Dear Monica:
I am intrigued by your post, “Positive comments,” because social media is one of the toughest places to be as most of the time it can be filled with hate. Also, I think we should be trying to find more ways like this to spread positivity through social media.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “ But it is unfair that people have to be paying for good comments” I think this is the upsetting part because though it’s a good trend, having to pay for it seems like you said it’s unfair. I feel like people should be able to do this out of their own kind heart instead of having to be paid to do it. Maybe there are other ways to spread positivity through social media.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I liked reading about this topic. I also liked the way you worded your information.

    • Dear Monica,
I really appreciate your “Positive comments” post because this world needs to be more like you filled with positiveity. There are cruel people in this world that are so negative they put all there negativity on to other people. I think if more people saw things like this they’ll be more happy fillied with positive energy.

One more thing that you wrote that stood out to me is “I learned that social media is often blamed for making people feel bad about themselves but in Asia, there is a new trend that is trying to spread positivity to people.” This stood out to me because social media is all negative, its just people criticizing other people. Maybe everybody should try and start making positivity a trend like in Asia.

I strongly believe that if the world was more positive everybody would be more successful. I think more people would be trying and less people would give up. Thanks for writing about positivity. I look forward to looking at what you write next and I hope its another positive subject cuz u tend to inspire people with positivity.

    • Dear Monica,
I am very supportive of your post, “Positive comments” because I honestly agree that social media has had an extensive impact on how people may view themselves and others. It is a problem that needs to be changed as soon as possible because it is really having a negative toll on people’s self-image. It is amazing how an app was created to spread positive comments. This app will truly lead to good things.

One sentence that you wrote that stands out for me is, “ I think it’s a good idea because millions of people daily receive bad comments about themselves.” I one-hundred percent agree with this because I side with you that it is a well-thought-out plan since all it does is benefit an individual. It is really interesting how they made an app to make a difference in social media.

Thanks for your writing, Monica. I look forward to what you write next because I really enjoyed how you wrote about this topic.

    • Dear Monica
I love your post, “Positive comments” because I believe that people need something like this and I am in big favor of how “Praising groups” is a part of the start of this change. I have always thought the same about social media because of how cruel people can be to others. I love the idea of WeChat and how it can impact others’ daily lives.

Something that stood out to me was,” I think it’s a good idea because millions of people daily receive bad comments about themselves.” I agree that people deserve more than nasty bad comments that they don’t deserve in the first place. I believe that this could bring so many people to have the validation that they need rather than the negativity they don’t need.

Thank you for writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I like that we think the same. We have goals for others and we are trying to bring change. You are an amazing person and I am glad that I read your post.

      Dear Monica:

I agree with your post, “Positive Comments”, because I agree that no one should receive negative feedback. I think it’s great that people can pay to receive kind messages from other people. There should be more love  in this world than hate.

One sentence you wrote that I stuck with was: “I think it’s a good idea because millions of people make bad comments about themselves every day. But it’s not fair that people have to pay for good reviews. I agree with this statement because it shows that people  have become less communicative with each other thanks to the internet. Without social interaction between people, no friendship or trust is formed, and in general when you post or say something on the internet you are more  likely to hear something negative about it.

Thanks for your post. I can’t wait to see what you write next as I’ve never heard of something like this before. I would love to know more as this is truly an eye-opener.

    • Dear Monica,

I agree with your post, “Positive Comments”, because I agree that no one should receive any type of hate comment. everyone should learn how to see every person with no negative thoughts on the other person.

one sentence that stood out to me was, “ But it is unfair that people have to be paying for good comments. People also have to stop making bad comments to people because it makes them feel bad about themselves”. This shows that people don’t like what they hear negative comment about them and make them feel some type of way.

i would love to hear more about what you hear or learn, Thank you for writing.

    • Dear Monica,

I am intrigued by your post “A new way to travel,” because i was wondering how others felt during the pandemic that had planned vacations that had to be cancelled. I think it’s a neat idea so that people had somewhat of an experience that helped during the lockdown.

One sentence that you wrote that stands out to me is “This works similarly to a real flight, when the plane has arrived customers get virtual reality headsets that let them look around their destination”. This is amazing because they are getting at least some type of experience.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because it is a neat story about what people resorted to during the pandemic. It helps people understand the level of lockdown that the U.S. was in.
