I believe that animal experimentation is the same thing as animal cruelty depending on how they treat the animals. The reason that this is an important topic I chose to write about is that some people say that
Hi Melody It’s Nacia and when looking at your post there was so many feelings excitement and pride because you mentioned things like animal abuse and The Animal Welfare Act because those aren´t things that are really paid attention to and itś nice to know someone is realizing it. Thank you for you post and I hope you continue to post.
Alright Melody at first I was thought that the argument being made was incorrect but after the citations and evidence it seems you changed my mind. As animals are said to be protected but you well exsplain that the laws passed are not effective properly as lost animals are gone forever on drugs that may not work. It is a good topic that should be looked into more by other people. Nice work and I look foreword to more good arguments as this.
Dear melody, It Daniel. great post I really like how you expressed the feeling of animals abused. Really stand out to me. You did a great job on the blog really enjoyed it. can’t wait to read more blogs from you. Also great evidences. really supported your claim.
Dear Melody, I thought that this was a good post. I like how you say that just because animals can’t talk it gives you the right to abuse and kill them. I agree with this because I feels that animals shouldn’t be taken advantage of when since they are not able to stand up for themselves.
I really like the fact that you were really detailed in your writing about the animal testing because animal testing is a big deal. Especially because scientists and doctors are killing them. “There are laws that protect animal cruelty” I like this quote because most people wouldn’t want to save the animals, they don’t care about the outer world they only care about themselves. One thing I think you should add is how do you think the people that were harming the animals will feel if they were the animals.
Your post is very intresting and draws alot of attention. Your point is well argued and you have avery great writing voice. Im glad you explained how animals should be protected becuase they are also a form of life. You also mentioned that they can not talk so they dont have the power to be able to advocate for themselves and have a say in what they want. Your post was very well written and I look foward to reading your next posts!
I’m impressed about your post because I like how you write about the topic of “I believe that animal experimentation is the same thing as animal cruelty depending on how they treat the animals.” something that i liked about your post was when you said ” The reason that this is an important topic I chose to write about is that some people say that animal experimentation is beneficial to today’s discoveries and I couldn’t agree more but do people think about what happens behind the scenes that lead to finding that cure which is animal experimentation.” i agree with you and i like how you show so much care for this topic. And you’re analysis is so strong and is your information you give is interesting. Thank you for your post i enjoyed it and would like to hear more about you.
I’m very impressed with your level of work and how well you explained everything in your blog titled Animal experimentation = Animal cruelty. It really shows your understanding on the topic. It really expresses how you feel about animal testing. One line from your blog that standed out to me was “That way is why we are one day going to have less and less animals.” This quote standed out to me because its true if we continue our behavior one day we will run out of animals and then what are we going to do. Another line that standed out to me was “ This quote matters because it is saying that the medical field does abuse animals in animal experimentations. This quote is also saying how the data is irrelevant to human health.” This quote sticked out to me because it shows that the data that is collected is irrelevant which shows that animal testing is pointless to some point. I look forward to see some more of your work in the near future.

I am moved by your post, “Feed the Hungry not the Streets” because you provide a lot of detail and your argument is very strong because of that. Homelessness is a very big issue happening in the world and I like how you explain that no one should be left without food or shelter, no matter what. I like the statistics you provided because they show the severity of this issue and how fast it is and has been growing. Lastly, I admire the way you talked about different possible causes for homelessness because it really strengthened your argument.
Thank you for writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next.

I really like your box and your counter narrative about your box. I agree with you that family is everything to you. I also agree with you about growing up without your father and I can relate to you about that since my father left me when I was younger. Other things I agree with you is about being a student and also about Latina.

I am moved by your post “Me,myself and I” because it was very detailed and you really explained parts of your identity. One part of your statement that stands out to me is when you placed pictures of people you love because it just means you really care about them. Another part that liked was when you described your ethnicity you said you are proud of being Mexican. Thanks for your shadow box and shadow box statement. I look forward to seeing what you make next, because you did a good job on describing everything you are proud of and it just made everything more interesting.
Your article “Me, myself, and I ” is outstanding, and the sensory deatils used in your post really helps the reader and enabled me to imagine your story in my mind. I also enjoyed the fact that I can connect to your article because being a Mexican American is not easy and stereotypes affect the way we are viewed but I admire your endurance to not give up and keep on being yourself despite many people trying to affect the way you are. I am loooking forward to seeing what you post next.
Here are three questions to further your thinking. How do the images in your box show your struggles and inspirations? Have you ever traveleed to Mexico? Can living under a certain environment change a person?.
dear melody,I really like your box its really colorful and showing about what makes you,you i also liked your sayings really powerful words i liked when you said ¨fear is not a person its a feeling and feelings go away¨ i connected to that and it was nice.

This is a youth-powered social network that was started in 2003 by a group of teachers from local sites of the National Writing Project.
We merged several earlier blogging projects. We have found that there are many advantages to bringing students together in one site that lives beyond any particular class. It's easier for individual students to read and write about their own passions, to connect with other students, comment on each other's work, and create multimedia posts for each other. Further, it's been exciting for us to pool our knowledge about curriculum, connected learning, and digital literacies.
If being part of such a community makes sense to you, we invite you to join us. We welcome all youth and any teacher interested in having students publish online and participate in the give and take of a social network like Youth Voices.
