    • Hey Matthew I found a couple of these articles very interesting. Its been over 70 years since the bombs were dropped and japan still feels its effect. Some survivors are still bitter about the attack but some knew it had to happen.

  • First I think it is important to acknowledge validities in arguments for the other side, because it sounds ignorant saying everything from the other side has no evidence and is a false claim. This is just a general rule for argumentation. Also, the stat that says white people are five times more likely to be incarcerated sounds very off the wall…Read More

  • I find these sources very interesting. I like how you have sources from specific events like the councils, however city ducting research in this way I think requires a few more sources. Also I think it is important to make sure you have some sources from people who are not Catholic to get an outside perspective. Good job.

I found this very interesting and am excited to read more on the topic.

    • These sources seem reputable and informative. I think many would agree that the use of the bomb in that situation was appropriate given that it, in the end, would save 1 million lives, as you mentioned. However, for the purpose of writing an argumentative essay it may be beneficial to include a source that does not support the dropping of the bomb. Good start, Matt!

  • To start, I think objectivity in research papers is key, because research is all about questioning what we know and learning more about what we don’t. I say this because you say that Trump’s immigration ban is digressing progress we have made. I’m not sure what progress you are referring to, but there are certainly things like vetting that the…Read More
