    • Dear Maysa:

I am amazed by your post, “Schools are different here,” because it tells me how much of a change it come to the US after living in Yemen. I sort of came up with the fact that t seems as though you became more comforted and social in the US.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “I think the greatest struggle in my life was when I was in Yemen and there was a war.” I think this is eye opening because it gives Yemen the image that it is probably not the best place to live and go to school.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because it seems as though you have a lot to share. Keep up the good work!

    • Dear Maysa:

I am intrigued by your post, ¨Schools are different here, ̈ because I am excited to know that you have had as much a life here in the United States as in Yemen. I really believe that few people come from somewhere far away to establish a life in this country.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: ¨I think the biggest fight of my life was when I was in Yemen and there was a war.¨ I think this is important because it is your life, your memories and I think that is not something that a person would like to see and much less experience that is why I love your great character and great joy because despite that you still smile at life.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because it really makes me interesting how you have been able to fit in in this country, which in turn is very difficult. I would love if you could also share us a little more about the cultures of Yemen since in this country there are many people who come from Arab areas but we don’t really know anything about aya and we would love to know a little more about their cultures.

    • I am fascinated by your post. Reading this is was cool to hear about how schools are different and I was comparing it to mine. Your story was very interesting and I learned a little from it.

    • I think its super interesting how you have experienced different high schools in different places. This is a super interesting story. I can also tell you are very creative and love learning new things, its clear you value your family and you know what you enjoy/don’t. Super interesting !
