Mae commented on the post, An Oral History with my Grandfather Juan
Dear, An oral history of my grandfather. I found interesting your post because I know how the elderly are the most affected by the pandemic, and how many needs they provide.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: ” When he was young he was the president of the Caserio, (a small place where a few people live), and in this Caserio,…Read More -

Mae, your post reminds me of the way Neil Gaiman writes. So creepy! It makes me want to read the story because you left me in suspense (wondering how it ended)

With what I have read, this book seems interesting, books which contains a huge unexpected plot twist, that way it would maintain my attention and keep reading, something that is hard for me to do. -

Hi Mae I enjoyed reading your article and I do agree. Wanting to get into a college and having the tuition be pricy is very stressful. I believe there should be some sort of system in order to get free tuition because some students may not be as deserving of free tuition as other students who work very hard.

hello Montserrat, I found your topic interesting since we do not know what will happen in the future, going back to our normal lifestyles as in the beginning, how this will mark our world history and we are living in it.

When I read your post it makes me think of the privilege some people have, and take advantage of that power. One thing I am…Read More

Hey Arooj! Your book sounds Interesting to me because in the future I would love to travel to many places and learn about their culture. When I read your post, it made me think about how would it be to celebrate in other countries. One thing I’m wondering is how do you celebrate in your country.

Hi Arooj! I’m so glad you are reading this book. I really enjoyed reading it too. I also really enjoyed learning about how people celebrate Eid in different places. My favorite parts to read were the parts about food! I think I’m wondering the same thing Mae is… how do you celebrate Eid in Pakistan? And how do you celebrate in California?

So far, the characters in The Dark Tile reminds me of another digital reading called “Daughter of a mafia leader”. Comparing both books is that both main characters are brave enough to face their fears, but there is something that attaches them that holds them back to save the person they love.
So far, the main character in The Dark Tile…Read More
