    • Mariely, I too think that women need to stand together to fight for issues that oppress us. We are often times viewed as inadequate and are not taken as seriously as men are in positions of power. Although throughout the last few decades or so the injustices women have faced seemed to have lowered, we are continuously patronized. I think you’d really enjoy this article https://nationswell.com/womens-equality-day/ I had a greta time reading your post, hope to read more from you. Thank you

    • Dear Mareily,
I completely agree with this article, because texting and driving is very dangerous and is one of the leading causes of car accidents. It takes your eyes off of the wheel and can cause people to crash much easier. I agree that it needs to stop and that people should put their phones on do not disturb when they drive them help prevent this.

      Sincerely,

15 Facts About Texting And Driving

    • Mariely, I really like this post. I feel like texting and driving is one of the most dangerous things out there. No one can multitask, even if they think that they can. It is becoming a very life threatening thing that teens do just to respond to their friends. No text is worth dying over. I found a great website that can help you further your research. https://www.teendriversource.org/teen-crash-risks-prevention/distracted-driving/cell-phones This website shows the different ways we can refrain from our phones while driving such as texting someone back before you start to drive and check in with parents to show that you are safe when you get to a destination. Being safe is way better than being sorry.

    • Dear Mariely,
I found your post very informative and interesting. It is a very relevant topic for people today and most kids can relate to this because they find themselves looking at their phones while driving more often than not. I agree that texting and driving causes most accidents and leads to death, which makes texting and driving of little importance compared to your life. Showing adds and billboards like these are helpful, but how can we say they are making change when we continue to hear of accident and deaths due to texting and driving. We need to find more productive and effective ways to stop texting and driving. Here’s an article that I found that I think will give more insight on this topic. https://www.teendriversource.org/teen-crash-risks-prevention/distracted-driving/cell-phones

    • Dear Mariley,

    • Dear Mariley,
I found your article very interesting and agree that texting and driving is a issue and people need to realize that it their phones are not as important as their safety . I think you may like this article from a children’s hospital in Philadelphia https://www.teendriversource.org/teen-crash-risks-prevention/distracted-driving/cell-phones .
      Sincerely, Timmy Jerome

    • Mareily, I agree with you on this topic and I realize that most people have no clue that when they are doing this that it has such a big impact on other people’s lives. At the bottom is a link that could help you out with this.

      Have a nice day,

    • Dear Mareily,
I agree with everything you mentioned in this article. Texting and driving is very dangerous, especially at this day and age. The technological advancements are definitely positive but also lead to problem like these. Apple and big corporations should put a better feature rather than just do not disturb mode. This will prevent accidents related to distracted driving.
Here is an article about the effects of cell phones and driving

      Hope you enjoy the feedback!

    • Hey Mariely, the topic you chose is so very important in todays society. Technology has advanced so much in the past decade and it has honestly just become more of a distraction. Cars are now compatible with phones which is another distraction added to the list. My point is that no matter what you drive or how long you’ve driven you are always putting your life at big risks while texting and driving. • Dear Marie:

I am amazed at your “Sleepless” comment because I learned about what happens if you don’t sleep your eight hours a day. I am from Mexico but I live in California. One phrase I liked was where he says “he time even more as a fact, i may need more sleep and that’s why I’m always falling asleep but i have no problem with it its my daily schedule and I’m used to it, I just don’t be sleepy at night ”I like the purchaser the same as you but some people say it is bad I think that in some ways we are the same but sleep more because it is bad. Thank you for your comment I hope you keep posting more to continue telling them what your favorite things are

    • Dear Mariely:
I am very impressed with your your post “Let Things Out” because you’re a very nice human being and very talented.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “I like writing; I just have a lot to express and when I think I’m done expressing there’s more I want to say so I think I can write forever about the things I am passionate about” . I think I can relate because I spend a plethora of time writing poems and it connects because i always have more to say.
Another sentence that I can relate was: “It has also made me way too mature too soon but I’m grateful for it; this way I have been able to be there for people in ways that I didn’t expect and I embrace it to the fullest”.This stood out for me because I had went through situation that made mature and now i see life with a different perspective.
Your post reminds me of something that happened to me. One time I went for vacation to Dominican Republic and something bad happened to me. In DR there’s barely any traffic lights , so I was crossing the street and got hit my motorcycle. Thank God I didn’t break a bone but I was really hurt.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because you are great at writing and grabbing people’s attention.

    • This was very interesting to read. I love how you went in depth about your life and how it affects you. I love your dreams of being a cop and helping someone. I think it’s a wonderful idea. You are very brave and I love your writing. You should always be proud of who you are.

      • Thank you , thank you for taking your time to read this , a little kindness wont harm which is what is needed in the world so ,spread kindness, always try to be you

    • Thank you so much for sharing your story. It seems like you have a passion for helping others and giving of yourself. You also seem to appreciate every aspect of your life, which is impressive for someone at such a young age. You are also a fantastic story teller- I was intrigued as I read about your life. You have inspired me to take a closer look at my background and appreciate what makes me who I am. Thank you again! I look forward to reading what you write next.

      • Thank YOU, i’m glad i was able to inspire you to look closer into your background and embrace it tho it takes times ,always try to be you ,take your time. Never thought i would of intrigued someone with my writing so,thank you.

    • I really enjoyed your statement that your “plans for the future are not completely clear yet.” This is incredibly relatable and takes up quite a bit of my own thinking as well. I enjoyed hearing your thought process associated with it. I also admire the options you laid out for your future. Wanting to help people is a very noble goal, and I think it is a great example of the positive and capable character you seem to possess.

      • Thank you , Even if the future may not be clear yet for anyone its still okay to take time for yourself and keep trying in life, its never too late , you’ll get there . always hope.

    • Mariely, this was very intriguing! Your thought process about this topic was very interesting to read and I enjoyed what you had to say. I specifically liked when you said, “This option I was most sure of but any of these options are just options that I’m not sure about, and I also try not be so anxious about the future and try to just simply get somewhere.” I too try not to be so anxious about the future, but it can often be hard! Thank you for this! I look forward to reading to what you write next.

      • Thank you for taking your time to read this ,I’m glad you enjoyed , In the near future just keep on trying often trying is what matters ,you’ll get there.

    • Thank you , thank you for taking your time to read this , a little kindness wont harm which is what is needed in the world so ,spread kindness, always try to be you .
