Damon, I am very interested in this topic you’re writing about because I in fact am very guilty of being one of those people that go out of their ways to get coffee so I don’t, well go crazy. Sometimes while I’m consuming this psychoactive drug I even ask myself, why? but I can never find the answer so hopefully you can.
I looked into this topic…[Read more]
Emily, I really look forward to reading your final article on the subject. I genuinely relate to this subject because most of my anxiety is linked to error, or maybe not and I actually never knew it was a real issue nor something people even researched to try to understand, but I want to understand as well and would love to help out so here’s a…[Read more]

this is such a powerful story. I heavily agree with the message you’re trying to send with your writing. The way you kept repeating the word “yourself,” really made me connect with you, and the way you feel as a woman, and sometimes we only ever have to fend for ourselves. This is a youth-powered social network that was started in 2003 by a group of teachers from local sites of the National Writing Project.
We merged several earlier blogging projects. We have found that there are many advantages to bringing students together in one site that lives beyond any particular class. It's easier for individual students to read and write about their own passions, to connect with other students, comment on each other's work, and create multimedia posts for each other. Further, it's been exciting for us to pool our knowledge about curriculum, connected learning, and digital literacies.
If being part of such a community makes sense to you, we invite you to join us. We welcome all youth and any teacher interested in having students publish online and participate in the give and take of a social network like Youth Voices.
