    • Wow, this is one of the most extensive posts I’ve seen on this site. you clearly did our research. If I had to list one grievance, maybe tweak the title a little? I don’t know if you put “Social Movements On Social Movements” on purpose but it sounds a little wonky. you make a very good point on how it allows people to take their messages places they couldn’t before. I think we’ll see more change coming out of this century than any other, thanks to how easy it is to spread information now. I love how you addressed the opposition and mixed in controversy that is happening today, like “fake news”. If you want to expand on inaccurate news sources and the part they play in this, I suggest you check out Snopes. They’re often used as a sort of fact checking website, and have been used to correct news before.

    • I love this topic because it is very applicable to people today. It is amazing how much our world has changed, and the fact media is able to move so quickly around the country. I think this is very well written and it is clear that the research was done. It is really helpful to use quotes to show the experts point of view on these issues. I also like how you concluded the essay and I completely agree on how much it has influenced society and changed our world.

    • Kayden, this was a very interesting post to read! I agree that social movements are very important in shaping the way we act and respond as a society. I think social media is a key factor to how these movements are formed and carried out. However, I do think that social media can have a negative effect on these movements as well. Anyone can write and say anything on social media sites, which gives them the opportunity to damage the movement by spreading false information. But I do agree, that social media also positively impacts social movements by giving them a larger and broader platform, as well as by connecting different individuals with the same goals. I think its important to then consider if the positives out way the negatives. Are people going to do their research on a movement or are they only going to believe what they saw online? Social media isn’t going to disappear, its only going to grow, and while it does have the potential so ruin a social movement, I think in the long-run it will positively impact movements as a whole. Here is an article I think you will find interesting: https://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/dec/31/has-social-media-ruined-the-web
I’m really excited to read your completed essay!

    • This is a hot topic in America and your article does a really good job of showing both sides of the argument. I like how rather than just displaying one side of the argument, you showed both perspectives and allow people to make their decisions on their own. This article is really well written, and does a good job of tackling a big social issue. This article I found shows some more information on whether or not the government should provide healthcare for the American people. You should check it out! https://healthcare.procon.org/

    • Kayden, I found your post to be interesting. I think that the government should only have a limit amount of power and we should have the freedom to do what we want. I like how you stated what three major roles the government should play like protecting the citizens from outside sources, justice rights, and public goods. As a US citizens, I believe the government should be able to help us but not takeover our lives. I found an interesting article you may want to read about American government (https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2015/09/24/the-new-propaganda-how-the-american-government-is-trying-to-control-what-you-think/?utm_term=.217930457108). Anyways thanks for your time and informing me how important our government is and what they do.

    • Hey Kayden,
I enjoyed reading about your post and thought you had a lot of great things to say about how limiting the government can prove useful. The government should provide more ways to protect citizens daily lives as well as their rights. I liked how you were able to talk about what you believed the government is doing now as well as what they should/could do to fix it. I found an interesting presentation talking about how there are various ways the government is involved in our lives right now that you may be interested in.

    • Dear Kayden

I am amazed with your post “Government Control”, because I agree with what you said. Everything you said about it I feel like its true. Its awesome how you brought in so many facts about the government control.
One sentence that you wrote that stands out ot me is “We the people are allowed to speak, judge, act and pursue the freedom we have as a American society but, are we”? I think this is impressive because, are we really able to do all of that?
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because I thought it was an awesome article.

    • How are you doing there Kayden,
I found this post to be very unique. I would have never thought of what ninja turtle that I might be and it seems like I would be Donatello, even though I would like to be Leonardo. I believe that this article has a much deeper meaning to what a person’s personality can say about them and how they can relate to characters that they have seen on television. I found an article about how television characters may influence children’s personalities and shape how they will act in the future.

      http://kidshealth.org/en/parents/tv-affects-child.html

All in all, I found this post to be very interesting and I am interested in what other fictional characters I might relate to. I believe that there is a lot of factors that affect people’s connections to TV characters and that the one they relate to more is the one that seems the most like them. I really like the theme to your post Kayden and I hope you continue to produce ideas like this in the future.

    • Hi Kayden,
I found your article to be engaging you talk about which ninja turtle are you? I feel like I’m either Donatello or Michaelangelo. This article expresses what type of person are you and how your personality correlates to a ninja turtle. I feel like you should’ve had an intro paragraph about the topic and introduce that there are four types of ninja turtle which you could choose from. This article also reminds me of what I took last year in Psych class, we took a test on personality and found what kind of person we are. I found an article about how your personality affects your health.

      https://health.usnews.com/health-news/family-health/heart/articles/2010/09/22/how-your-personality-affects-your-health

Anyways, I’m interested to see what you write next. I really like your content and look forward to see what you write in your future comment.

    • Hey Kayden,
I found this post to be very interesting and unique. I found out to be the Michelangelo because he relates and reflects a lot of my personality’s and characteristic’s. I would of loved to be Donatello just because of how he is. I feel like this post goes deeper into what your persona tells you about yourself.
If you took this quiz you would find out what turtle you are.

      https://www.quibblo.com/quiz/2rZxhfa/What-Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtle-Are-You

    • kayden,
I found this post to be very humorous and light hearted. Asking someone what kind of ninja turtle they are asks them to look at who they are as a person and what they have done. This post is about self reflection and it sure did make me think, i would say that i am more of a Michelangelo because of my personality and how carefree i am. https://www.quibblo.com/quiz/2rZxhfa/What-Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtle-Are-You this link asks you questions about your personality to figure out what ninja turtle you are and this is what i used.

    • This post is very amusing and playful. The title originally drew me in to the post in the same way pop ads invites people. Im glad a simple cartoon could spark so much interested in who we are and am glad that we like to see ourselves in our childhood influences. I still cannot say for certain which turtle I am after all people are more complicated than characters. I am much more interested in who the turtles are named after and how that is seen in their personality and roles. I encourage you to write and essay that dives into this topic.

    • Dear Kayden,
I am interested in your post because it’s something different from all these other post in youthvocies and something fun to look at. These posts are always interesting since it connects you to a character you watch or know about. One thing that stands out for me is “You’re someone who is very rebellious. You can get angered very quickly but also get very aggressive.” because that involves my moods and i relate to him more than any of the other turtles.

    • Kayden, I found this question very interesting and found myself wanting to learn more. I most intriguing part of the article you included was how twins grow off each other and from experience. This shows how early interaction with people your own age is important in early development. I found an article talking about if twins have their own individual traits.

      christinabaglivitinglof.com/school-age-twins/will-too-much-togetherness-affect-your-twins-individuation/

Do you think you and your twin are alike? Do you wish you had a twin?

Thanks for your personal insight, and I liked how it connected to you everyday. Good topic.

    • I found this post to be very interesting Kayden, the question you posed about how twins affect each other’s lives is intriguing. The article that you included in the post is an interesting experiment that shows a good comparison of how twins “have their differences but build and learn from each other”. The idea of how twins are able to affect one another’s personal growth reminds me of how important it is to form good relationships with your peers and how a person is able to greatly be influenced by the people they surround themselves with. I found an article that provides good insight as to how one’s siblings affect growth that you might find interesting. http://www.parents.com/baby/development/social/birth-order-and-personality/

Thank you for creating this post. I can’t wait to see what you write next, because the detail you have included from the article provides good insight to the topic you were concerned with. I like how you connected the question to something that directly correlates with your life and it is a good thing to see how open you are talking about it.

    • Kayden,
I think you have found a very strong topic to look at. I looked at the part of the article where it talked about twins learning from each other. This is a very interesting topic and I really hope you find what you are looking for.
Thank you for finding a really good topic. I am excited to hear more on what you find.
