I am interested in your post because there are many points in which i do not agree with. One thing you said that stood out for me: “Women are actually more likely to graduate college, but only slightly.” because you can’t argue for one side than another.
I am interested in your post because feminism truly lost its meaning throughout the years and has been given a whole different aspect.
One thing you said that stands out for me is: “Feminism used to be a movement of women who fought for gender equality, but now the feminist group is fighting for women’s rights and completely…[Read more]
I am intrigued by your post because not only did you contribute multiple views on how feminism may be portrayed from back then to now but you were not biased about the topic either.
One thing that you said that stands out for me is: “The term feminism is defined as the advocacy of women’s rights on the grounds of political, social, and…[Read more]
I am interested with your post because I found it as something new, never have I read a post on whether getting a pet or a child is better. In a way both pets and children are a hassle especially when having a pet such as a dog and it being a puppy is somewhat the same as having a human baby both are complete headaches and although human babies…[Read more]
I am intrigued by your post because it just really caught my attention on how badly our country has fallen, and how the president decides to handle people expressing their free speech. Although many people have been shunned for taking a knee during the national anthem that is their way of peacefully handling the injustices in the United States I’m…[Read more]
I am interested with your post because I don’t necessarily agree with this mainly because although Trump is not paying much attention to certain world-wide issues he can not take away their rights to assemble that is Amendment 1 and even though certain players have been shunned for doing it or suspended from the team they have the right to sue…[Read more]
I am very satisfied with your post, because I could really relate to this considering the fact that my mother is an immigrant and struggles a lot with the fear of being detained and taken away from our family. One thing you said that stands out for me is “when these families and children have reached the border they are greeted by…[Read more]
This is a youth-powered social network that was started in 2003 by a group of teachers from local sites of the National Writing Project.
We merged several earlier blogging projects. We have found that there are many advantages to bringing students together in one site that lives beyond any particular class. It's easier for individual students to read and write about their own passions, to connect with other students, comment on each other's work, and create multimedia posts for each other. Further, it's been exciting for us to pool our knowledge about curriculum, connected learning, and digital literacies.
If being part of such a community makes sense to you, we invite you to join us. We welcome all youth and any teacher interested in having students publish online and participate in the give and take of a social network like Youth Voices.
