Patrick- I think you bring up some really unique points here- this is not an issue that is commonly discussed. The cycle of former-inmates not being prioritized for jobs worsens their likelihood of being able to create a stable life for themselves and put themselves into a position to not get into trouble again. These resources are great.…Read More

Milo-
I think that this a very prevalent issue and becoming more so as more people are moving to Utah for a variety of reasons. I think that your article from SolutionsU presents a valid solution to the issue, although not cost effective. How can we decrease worldwide homelessness and poverty?
- September 29, 2020
Dear Grace,
I am impressed by your post, “Dogs Make Humans Happier” because it is amazing how dogs create a difference in people’s lives. Also amazing how dogs decrease depression, stress, anxiety, and allow their owner to no longer feel lonely. Dogs allow create a positive environment. They are full of energy and want what’s best for their owners which is why they always protect them.
I think dogs are amazing they really create a positive effect within a family. They are adorable and so playful. They make their owners feel loved. One statement that stood out to me was “owning a dog is beneficial.” I would totally agree with this because having a dog is life-changing. Personally, I always loved dogs so much and find them extremely adorable and I also love how they help people in many different forms and are like family.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next because I like how we share the same opinion towards dogs and how we agree that they create a significant change in people’s lives.
