    Women's Right To Vote

In the article "Women Get the Vote" (Upfront, Elanie Weiss, May 11, 2020 subscription required), I learned that for women to get their rights, they had to fight for it because everyone should have equal rights. Every august it's...

    • Dear Geraldine

I am interested about your post, “Women’s Rights to Vote”, because I think Women should definitely have their rights and should be able to vote. I think this because women are exactly the same as men and we can do exactly what they do including having the right to vote.Women should have that right to vote and the freedom they want.

One sentence that stood out to me was, “Also some women should also be able to make things happen for good things because women are more powerful.” I think is encouraging because women are so powerful because they make so much effort in their lives to be stable no matter where they work etc.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because it’s very interesting how you defend your thoughts. I also think it’s interesting how you express your feeling with your posts.

    • Dear Geraldine,

I am surprised by your post “Women’s right to vote” because women should have the right to vote. And because women ad men are humans and should have the same rights as men. Women deserve the same rights because women fight so much to have the same rights.

One sentence that stood out to me was “Women took so long to get what they wanted until they were able to get an amendment”. This stood out to me because a lot of women work hard for this to actually happen.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because your post was something really true and also interesting.

    • Dear Geraldine,

I am interested about your post, “Women’s Rights to Vote”, because I as well have the same thoughts as you for women’s equal rights. I think this because everyone is human and everyone deserves to have equal rights in life.

One sentence that stood out to me was, “Women took so long to get what they wanted until they were able to get an amendment to be for their own rights and to know what they want for the accomplishment.” This stood out to me because women work so hard to get what they want.

Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next, because it’s very interesting the way you think. I like how you show how you feel throughout the posts you have made.

    Dear Christian:

I am interested in your post “Cash or card?” They talk about how not a lot of people don’t have bank accounts and can’t afford to use a debit card. Some people also cannot afford it since they might think they’re going to get in trouble with the government.

One sentence you wrote that stands out to me is: ” One side states…Read More

    should community college be free?

    • Dear, Geraldine

I am strongly impressed by your article “should community college be free” because I agree with you stating that community college can be expensive for some people and those people struggle to pay their needs. Since a community college is just about 2 years long I believe it should be as expensive as where students can find a dime to pay there learning education, instead, I believe they should be getting extra help from the community college since the students will head straight over to a 4-year university where prices are more understandable to be more price or they may be heading straight over to there dream job? career.
One sentence that you said that caught my attention is”I think it’s a good idea because some people can’t afford it and it won’t be easy for some people since they won’t have a way to pay for it.” the reason it caught my attention is that I agree with you I hear it personally from many community college students saying that they stress out with there school work and sometimes they do have a job. Still, sometimes the students have to provide for there own families .

Thank you for your time I appreciate you for writing I really enjoyed learning about this topic especaiily since I am a senior in high school its good to learn these things .

    Dear Crystal :

I am sad by your post “My Biography,” because you went through so much for changes in your life. Also, you didn’t know the language and had to learn it just to know things.

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “It was challenging to adjust to a new country due to the language barrier. After graduating from high…Read More
