Emmy commented on the post, Protecting Children from COVID
Dear Felipe,
I completely agree with you that this is a great advancement. It is important for us to protect the next generation. We want our youth to prosper in the future. In response to “Not only that but now kids are more protected from reviving covid, it might not be a big difference but a little bit of that dose still helps protect…Read More

Emmy commented on the post, What Kind Of Freedom Should A Teen Have?
Dear Michelle,
I really liked your point when you said “I agree that it is good to have kids start learning new things at a young age and experimenting with life and the outside world.” I agree with you that new experiences are the best times of growth for a child. Personally, I feel that times when I was pushed out of my comfort zone have…Read More

I really appreciate you speaking out about this problem! I completely agree with you about how uniforms are too expensive and hard to find. My family has struggled to obtain me a uniform for the past couple years and when we found someplace that had my size, it was incredibly expensive. I like how you brought up that being able to wear what you want helps you to express your identity. I agree with that, and I believe that it is important to promote your identity, and well-being without having to get in trouble. If schools think that uniforms are more professional and they promote the school, then they should at least make them more comfortable and more affordable.

Dear Emmy,
I am impressed by your post, “Should school’s unforms be required?” because it is impressive that schools still use unforms. I think this is impressive how this is a requirement in some schools.
One sentence that stood out to me was that “Wilcox mentions a valid argument in that “itchy and tight clothes can make it difficult for a student to focus on academics.” I think that this stood out to me because I agree with this due to the fact that at one time in my life I had to wear uniforms in elementary and I would never like it.
Thank you for writing this amazing post. I am looking forward to your other writing.

Emmy commented on the post, "Ala's Story" Book Review
Dear Brody,
I am glad to hear that you were presently surprised with your book. I appreciate your honesty in that it wasn’t your favorite book to read, yet you enjoyed the journey. You state “Throughout the book, it’s clear that Ala isn’t the most sophisticated writer, nor the most experienced, but her connection to the material is clear.” I a…Read More
