Your take on putting America on trial was interesting to read. I liked that you connected the past and the present. The past is something we can’t escape. It’s crazy to wrap your head around the fact that people in society have worked against black people for 4oo years.

I really loved this piece. Even though this is a fictional story, it’s something that could really happen in today’s society like it was nothing. I also really liked the picture you included. It’s very simple but emphasizes a lot!

It was interesting to hear your perspective on putting America on trial. I admired how you made a connection between the past and present. How can we stop avoiding the past?

I love that you touched on the idea of them doing things “out of fear” while they are the ones bearing arms and in some cases even pointing them, it really shows how much subconscious racism is in one’s soul.
