jDestiny, I am interested by your post, “NFL to Hire More Diverse coaches” because I agree with you that there should be more diverse coaches and they should be given a chance to work in the NFL. I think it is unjust how the majority of coaches are white and male. I think this because different ethnicity’s and gender should be given a chance to coach. One sentence that stood out to me is, “However, we need to start seeing a change in the coaches because women are barely coaches and do not have a chance as much as a male.Have you ever noticed that in the NFL we usually see male coaches who are usually of the race white?”. This stood out to me because it says a lot about the NFL not hiring distinct coaches. One sentence you wrote that stood out to me was “The main issue is that coaches being hired are usually of a higher level and have more to offer. However, we need to start seeing a change in the coaches because women are barely coaches and do not have a chance as much as a male.” I think this is important because women can very much do the same job as men. As well as, white people being hired because they are considered “qualified” but what if the person of color has more to offer with more experience.

Your post really interested me because usually regarding diversity in sports my mind always goes to diversity amongst players. However, in sports there are many jobs/positions that also lack diversity, like coaches. I definitely agree that usually coaches are white and definitely majority male.

A sentence you wrote that stands out to me is: “I feel there are fewer chances for females and people of color to get NFL coach jobs.”. I agree that the reason we don’t see much diversity is lack of resources and opportunity. There are so many people who are qualified but don’t have these positions because of this lack of resources.

I am impressed with your post about diversity in coaching because it is a very true statement and I think it would be nice to see a change. I know this post talks about the NFL but I know this also applies in lower playing fields like college and high school. I go to many high school games and I see a majority of White or Black coaches but never any other race.

One sentence you wrote that stands out to me is: “Have you ever noticed that in the NFL we usually see male coaches who are usually of the race white?“. This sentence specifically stood out to me because this is what made me realize that there really is no diversity. I had never thought about it until I read that sentence.

I am surprised  by your post, “Ukraine Asks for More Help and Biden Responds
,” because of the fact that Putin has made a mess out of the lives of ukrainian that is also affecting the people of other countries.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “Zelensky is not only asking for help from the United States but from the whole world.” I think this is worrisome because that means that his country isin great suffering and needs help but also the others are trying to not start a WW3, it would be chaotic. I don’t know how Biden and the other leaders could help in this situation aside from sending resources.

I am impressed by your post, “Ukraine Asks for More Help and Biden Responds,” because this is occurring right now and many people are suffering with this. And they can’t do anything. They just want to get more help for Ukraine to save their lives. 

One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “Russia has already fired more than a thousand missiles at Ukraine and has also used bombs and drones to murder Ukrainians.” I think this is devastating because people are not guilty about the problems that they have. There are kids in there that are innocent and they don’t have nothing to do.

I am impressed by your post “Ukraine Asks for More Help and Biden Responds” because Russia has already fired thousands of missiles at Ukraine. I think it’s a horrible idea because there are thousands of thousand people who live there.

One sentence that stood out to me was “ I also feel it is important for the United States to help Ukraine with this issue. Many innocent lives are being stripped from individuals due to this conflict occurring.” I think this is a good idea that the united state should help them with food and essentials.

I am intrigued by your post, “Ukraine Asks for More Help and Biden Responds” because it is interesting how sanctions are being placed on Russia.
I feel like the sanctions aren’t as effective as Biden thought they would be since we still depend on Russia for many things.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is, “This issue is being compared to Pearl Harbor. Zelensky is not only asking for help from the United States but from the whole world.”
It stands out to me because he is asking for help not only sending food and military equipment and it is because he doesn’t want to risk going to war with Russia.
If he were to send troops, it could potentially be the start of a third world war.

I think America/Biden should send support to Ukraine, as well as offer asylum to those fleeing, but I think we should stay out of joining a fight. I am Pro Ukraine but America joining in to directly fight could cause a chain reaction that puts the whole world at risk.
Most countries now have access to weapons that could wipe out an entire country. If the Cuban Missile Crisis scared you, then think about how dangerous new weapons can be. Not to be one of those “Oh My God WWIII” but we’ve seen what happens when a country sends support by joining a war. I believe in offering asylum and sending other types of support is the safest thing to do.
