So far the plot in SCARY STORIES reminds me of a very popular legend in Mexico about the Llorona, in the book it says that we tell stories and every time we tell it they change it later, the story no longer has anything to do with what is told As in the legend of the weeping woman, many say that she drowned her children in part and each time they tell that legend they change the place where the weeping woman drowned her children.
