• Hi Geovany,
I really liked your ideas on equality in America. I found it interesting how you gave the reason and throughly explained why you believe each of your statements what true, which makes for a convincing argument. I would like to hear more about your opinion of women rights pertaining to equality since women do not have the same rights as…[Read more]

    Hi Mason,
I thought your post was very interesting because it combined societies expectations with the actual desire of people living in the society. https://keydifferences.com/difference-between-culture-and-society.html this link was interesting because it categorized peoples own beliefs and purposes as an entirely different category than…[Read more]

    • Hi chloe! I found this post very interesting. This is something I have never really considered, but I agree that history tends to be a subject that is not as widely considered for a career path as other subjects may be. Although, I did find a link, “History is not a useless major, Fighting Myths with Data” , that discusses a similar topic to you: that history is being lost as our youth doesn’t see it as a practical subject to major in, but this article also writes about how history majors are possible and there are still many jobs out there for them, we just need more people to know about it. I think that could relate to what you said about the way students are being taught. I thought this was really great post that was very informative.

  • Mason,
I found your topic very interesting because it is inevitable that we pass judgements onto others. We can’t avoid this which makes it very difficult to change our perceptions of others after first impressions. The analogy with someone cutting you off to get to the hospital was interesting because there would be no way of knowing what their…[Read more]

  • 81 percent of Americans use some sort of social media platform today. 1.96 billion people use social media worldwide and this number is expected to double by 2018. The number will exponentially increase until

    • I found this article very interesting due to its truth. Those who do not stay up to date with current events on social media are definitely more out of the loop. And this could be bad as those who are at a loss may feel awkward or like they are not in the right group and that could be bad for friends. A group of friends might change if some of the people have a different view of something that is going on in social media today or even if they just do not have an opinion. Overall I really enjoyed this.

    • Chloe, I thought it was very interesting how much truth is in this article. I, on daily basis, find myself talking in what would be short hand. I also liked the fact that you used both sides of the argument, that made your article much more reliable and credible. I do think that the fact that we talk in short hand could be bad because some people don’t understand that there is a time and a place.

    • Interesting post, Chloe! I really enjoyed how you also looked at the advantages of social media because most people solely focus on the negatives. Based on your post I think you would enjoy this article (https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/negative-effects-social-media/) that I’ve recently read. I look forward to reading your future posts!

  • Hi Max
I really liked your post. It was really interesting how you described it as a craving that humans have for sadness. Many people might contradict your idea because they feel like they don’t like that feeling but I think it is more subconscious. h…[Read more]

I thought your post was very interesting! I have always loved Denver too. I liked how you described how your various moves affect you in your social, personal, educational, and family life. I think that it is a major turning point in your life as you stated. But I agree with your idea that throughout your life you will have many…[Read more]

    • I found this topic interesting because I have lived in Utah my whole life. You can most definitely tell that most people in Utah have very similar beliefs, whether it is because of religion or not. It would be interesting to see the small sectors in Utah that are red or blue. I also liked how you talked about having different opinions helps us grow intellectually and in our own mind sets.

  • Heather,
I liked the topic you chose to post about. I thought it was interesting how you focused on the inequality that women have faced and still face as part of the American Creed. I have similar viewpoints as you in this area so it was interesting to read what you had to say. The gender pay gap is still a huge issue today, as well as the…[Read more]

I found your topic interesting because it is a topic I have researched in the past. I think your idea that there may be a solution is feasible, but I also believe there is a possibility that the NFL won’t exist in the next 20 or 30 years. The injuries such as concussions and overall toll on the body have made football seem barbaric and…[Read more]

Hi Valeria! I love your topic for your research project. One of my goals to to become a cardiologist, and currently only 15 percent of all US Cardiologists are women. Not only is the number of females to males in any given field are usually different, but there is also a wage gap.…[Read more]

  • Hi Amran,
I think the issue you are addressing is very important in our world today. Many small businesses are being shut down due to the lack of customers. This is because customers cn go to the bigger businesses and buy the same products for less. It seems more convenient to shop online or at big supply stores to get the best deal, and…[Read more]

I thought your idea was very interesting, especially the part where you explain how many people determine self worth based on belongings.
