    • What a fascinating topic Chloe. I never really considered the wage gap in the medical felid, let alone the reason for it. With both men and women getting the same amount of education and experience in med school, it seems absolutely crazy that theres a $20,000 gap. It was interesting to see the connection between lower paying professions within medicine were the same professions that women mostly go into. I wonder, are there any women in medicine fighting for same pay?

  • Kadijah,
I liked your story about how you had a difficult time deciding which color of vans to get. I think it has sort of an underlying message, whether it was intentional or not, that sometimes we make decisions and regret them later on. And your solution to this was to ‘buy both pair’ or try out each solution which I think is a good message!

  • Olivia,
I really liked how you explained why athletes may need to paid more for insurance, injury, and career span reasons. Its something that we often don’t think about when we talk about how much athletes get paid. I think we look at the number and can’t even fathom how much money that is, but after tax, surgeries, and other expenses it can be…Read More

    • I agree with you that women should be paid equal to men, not only in the medical field but in any sort of work place. Women are capable of doing the exact thing as men in todays time and age. I find it interesting how women are paid more in the field of radiology compared to men but paid less in other fields. After all of the excruciating work and time spent going through medical school they should earn the same wages as their male counterparts.

    Mason,
I thought your post was interesting since we are all guilty of not standing up for others or being a bystander. I really liked how you gave an example of this situation by describing the Kitty Genovese story. I think its crazy that 38 people saw this attack happening, yet not one of them tried to help her. It brings up your question of why…Read More
