    AI Writing And Its Consequences

Introducing Citoyen "City" Coldson, a young black teenager making his way through the American South, the story presents us with an exploration of contemporary youth voices, confused identities, and the power and potential of satrical humor to bridge what...

    • I completely agree, Ai makes students lazy, even though it can be helpful and convenient. It truly does depend on whos using AI and their intentions to do so. I would have loved to read more about your perspective on how AI impacts the quality of your work. Overall good analysis!

    • I actually haven’t thought about the fact that AI doesn’t reflect the voice of the writer using it. That’s such a good point, but I do think that AI is very good at creating academic writing and ideas. You can always use the words or sentences that the AI generates, while including your own writer’s voice. I think AI can be lazy, but when not abused, it can be more resourceful than lazy.

    • I agree with you that AI-generated content often doesn’t accurately reflect the voice of the writer, however, I have to disagree with you in your statement that it shouldn’t be taught at schools. It has its uses for both students and teachers and while it isn’t the best when it comes to creating written content, it is very good at generating image content. I commend you on staying open to the opinions of others, as seen by your statement of “to each their own.”

I like your idea of it being “yours” so you have to try to take the utmost care of it. It’s interesting how little hints let into your life like the “track comment:”, a very good poem.

  • I love that you touched on the idea of them doing things “out of fear” while they are the ones bearing arms and in some cases even pointing them, it really shows how much subconscious racism is in one’s soul.

  • The word mullato also caught my attention! I wasn’t aware it was a slur and spoke about it in my essay as well, very interesting considering the singer.

  • Your ai image is really fascinating, it kind of seems like its showing how the media ultimately “kills” the black image. I don’t think if everything were reversed they’d understand, I don’t think they wanna understand its all about wanting a victim mentality in my opinion.
