  • This is so sad. I think it is interesting how this group values the polygamy practice for older men, rather than investing in their future. I had never heard of these boys and I thank you for bringing this issue to light. I hope that raising awareness will help these unfortunate children and young men receive more support and lead to bigger…[Read more]

  • I really like this picture essay. As someone who does not live in an area where there are a lot of bridges, if any, I have always found bridges to be cool and interesting. I think that the few sentences at the end are impactful. However, I think that if a little more background information was given to this park and the shooting that occurred,…[Read more]

I appreciate your willingness to be vulnerable on this very sensitive and personal topic. As someone who has had the fortune to not lose many loved ones, I will admit that I am scared of the inevitable. I do not know how well I will be able to cope with the loss of my grandmothers, heaven forbid my parents. I believe you correct in your article.…[Read more]

  • This look on trust is very prominent in my life. I have always valued honesty and trust from me is not commonly given. I have learned to trust more due to being in a relationship with someone who I absolutely adore. However, I feel as though trust must always be there. If trust is broken, you cannot get it back from me easily. Thank you for being…[Read more]

  • I too have a deep fascination with designer clothes. For me, it is not about being snotty or trying to show that I am better than someone else. It is about quality and being able to look my best at all times. As a person of color, I feel as though I am judged even more than most by my outer appearance. The use of designer clothes, for me, is the…[Read more]

This is a topic that is very important in today’s society. I found it most interesting that Australia’s payment system waits for students to have a higher income level. In the U.S., it is expected you start paying immediately. My question is, how do you propose the United States implements these methods of payment? You gave a brief explanation of…[Read more]

    • I found it to be very good that you included both sides of this argument, which allows for the reader to learn your thoughts, but also obtain some of their own. It is such a tough argument to make, as it mainly comes down to personal opinion, but you did a good job to make it factual. I would just wonder slightly what your own view on this topic is? This is just such as heated topic, and news stations are constantly reporting on this issue, so that might be good resource to get an even wider range of opinions. I will definitely be back to read more.

    • Good job on discussing the possible pros and cons of a difficult ethical topic. I like how you summarized the main argument of each side in a concise sentence. One thing that I feel could have been added is possible other solutions to horrendous crime to replace the death penalty. While you give good reasons to keep or abolish it, you did not give a possible replacement. Despite this, you did a good job at citing your sources and bringing in unbiased sides of the argument.

    • Carlos,
I really enjoyed reading your article. I liked how you presented both sides of the argument and provided articles that included additional arguments and details. This made me more aware of what people think regarding this topic.

    • Carlos, I can see both sides. I feel for the families of those the criminal did his/her injustice against, however I also do believe that their are other ways to deal with criminals that do not take up all those resources you stated. What is your opinion in the matter? Thank you for sharing, I hope to see more of your writing in the future.
