    • Carlos,

I really was moved by your post and the connection you made to today. The part that really stood out to me was how you talked about Tris moving Factions in order to get more power. It is interesting how the government separates them, but allows them to move. This of course, is really not how it works in the real world. However, can you think of examples where it does work? One that comes to mind for me is with class or economic differences. What do you think?

Thanks for writing, and looking forward to reading what you write next.

  • Dear Yessica,

Thank you for all your questions. I am going to try to answer them.

First, I think that there should be something done that may help the number of teens using drugs decrease. I haven’t researched if there are any youth centers that may help decrease the number of teens using/selling drugs. But that is a really good idea.

i agree with your second sentence of your conclusion paragraph. “By teaching about drugs to youth it will help them make the right choices in life”. i tink it would help teens stay away from drugs.

    • Dear Carlos,
Your article is very interesting, I was not aware of the fact that there are teenagers selling drugs which makes me think where do you think their parents are? It has also make me think that maybe they are going through difficult times maybe depression or bullying and somehow they had access to the drugs as an easy way out. Who knows maybe they do not have anyone they can speak to about their problems. It is heartbreaking knowing that there are a lot of teenagers using drugs everyday. As you stated in the article,“Every day 4,000 12-17 year olds use drugs for the first time.” I never thought this happened. Do you think there should be something done about this in order to see if that number somehow can be decreased? Or to stopped this completely? Children ages 12-17 should not be selling or using drugs, they should be focus in school and thinking about what profession they want to do once they graduate high school and go to college. I like the research you have done because I never thought this was even an issue. I agree with you when you stated that they might feel bad if something happens to their client, but before that ever happens do you think we should help them first? In order for them to stop selling drugs and not ruin their future?
