My reaction to the walkout is wow because once you get to see more in depth of what this students went through its disappointing and sad. What stood out to me was how the families decided to support their kids. Also something else that stood out was how some black people went out to support the chicanos. The parents supporting their kids stood out to me because it felt like an achievement to the kids in a way that their parents supported them and was a wholesome moment. And the reason why the blacks supporting the chicanos stood out to me is because it just goes to show how not only the chicanos but other races were hearing about the protest and how they wanted to join in to show their support.

I agree with your reaction to the walkout that you were disappointed. I also felt disappointed because they were being treated so badly that they couldn’t even open the restroom for them. I also felt sad because at the beginning because the parents did not go out and help right away they were against it. I think all these could connect to 2021 cause now the African American people are protesting and fighting to get equally treated. -
I agree with you it is wow to see more in-depth of what the students went through. It is sad that they had to protest for a fair education. I glad that other people besides Chicanos decided to stand up for them and walk out with them. I think Lemon Grove Incident,
