    • Great post, Akira! I liked how you included that there can be positives or negatives that come from parents splitting up. Based on your post I think you would enjoy reading this article, https://www.divorcenet.com/resources/divorce-and-children/joint-child-custody-advantages-disadvantages.htm.

    • Hi Akira,
I related to your post so much, and I think that a 50/50 custody agreement would be the most ideal choice for any child/parents in that situation.

    • Dear Akira,

I am intrigued by your post, “Child Custody” and how you used your personal experience to educate others about this circumstance. Child custody is a very difficult process, people often think of it as a negative occurrence, when it really isn’t considering some situations you listed, but it can be as well, especially in the life of the child whose parents are separating. Children are affected drastically either negatively or positively depending on the situation, however, it is still pushed to understand both sides of it.

One sentence you wrote that stood out to me is, “ It’s normal for people to go through poor relationships, of course, that doesn’t always happen, but it’s good for the child to have support, and to understand that many children, go through the same situation”. This sentence gives reassurance to children dealing with parent seperation that they are not alone and that not all relationships have an ending which can lift up their perspectives on certain things.

Thank you for this writing. I look forward to what your next writing is, because you bring up issues that need to be addressed more often. I would like you to continue writing about personal experiences that can help educate others.
