Lauryn, I too am a big fan of discovery, and it saddens me that I don't have much time to do it I love traveling, and wandering in the places I travel to. I don't ever feel that I need a tour guide, because I love to just walk...

Kait, While I agree with the general statement that we control our own happiness, I also agree with Matt's position that there are some uncontrolably saddening moments in life. However, I've found that it isn't about making yourself see everything as good, but rather about your outlook on life as...

Evan, I highly agree that persistence is essential if one wants to succeed, and I have experienced it as well. However, I experienced it in a different sport, which was swimming. I went from barely being able to swim in 6th grade, to 19th in the state for D2, all...

Abinaov, I really enjoyed your writing, and I have found that it is very true. I am not necessarily frightened by change, but I have certainly been apprehensive towards it many times. Fear is something that does nothing but hold us back, no matter what we are afraid of, and...

Juray, My school used to have a Chief as it's mascot, and while I understand that it can be offensive, I think that ik some cases it can actually be paying respect to the history if the area. I don't know if I would be offended by being a...

Juray, Your post is very relevant, and I agree that women are not treated equally and need to stand up for themselves. I don't have much experience with women putting each other down instead of up, but I do know that it happens and I agree that they should work...

Mackenzie, I really enjoyed your work with this poem, and I really like the idea of writing from the perspective of a leaf. You did a great job following the rhyme patterns of Coatsworth's poem and did great work with the imagery and language to make this piece really seem...

Ajonea, I think Baldwin makes a very strong argument, and you seem to have put a lot of thought into the topic as well. In today's society, this is especially relevant, as blacks are still feeling the effects of this racism and trying to overcome it. Thank you for sharing...

Olivia,I really enjoyed your post. Coaches are often very important people in communities, as they influence the development of their athletes in so many different ways. I enjoyed reading about why you chose Coach Cordova as your subject, and why you photographed him where you did. Thank you for...

Juray, I follow a strict schedule in the mornings as well, but I actually wake up early to eat breakfast and shower so I can be fresh and ready to take on the day. I have found that the easiest way to keep up on sleep is simply go to...

Jordan, While I have certainly dealt with stress from school, I certainly believe that the major cause of my stress comes from me pushing myself. I relate with the desire to keep good grades, and sometimes I push so hard, I can't focus on anything else. I have found that...

Malia, I was very interested in this topic when I saw the title, and I agree that confidence affects our entire outlook on life. I have believed for a while that confidence is arguably the most important aspect of ourselves, as it can change everything in our lives. I also...

Isa, I commented on your earlier post, and now I see, that my wishes were answered and you did write more on this topic. I am very happy to see that dogs are, in fact, capable of complex emotions and that is something I see every day, so there was...

Isa, I too am interested in this topic, and I also want my dogs to love me. I'd like to see where your research leads you and hopefully we see another post on what you find out, because I also think that dogs are capable of complex emotions.

Jimmy, I really enjoyed your piece and found that it has a powerful message about the frailty of the human mind. Definitely something I will be thinking about more now. Thank you for your piece.

I very much enjoyed your story, especially the ending! It is also cool that, because this is a kid's story, it has a message that the reader could take away. In this case it is very obviously "don't take what's not yours." Great job!
