A plant was torn from his land

Said goodbye to his caregiver

A metal bird took him to the snowland

Repeatedly in his mind: be the outliver

 

I took that airplane

I said “Ciao” again

I saw the land of New York

I finally got to the Airport

 

He took his suitcase

He knew his place

He smelled the burnt gas

He got lost in America

 

I don’t understand

This wasn’t planned

I went to the right-hand

It doesn’t look like wonderland

 

He could feel the cold

He had a frozen breath

He walked out being bold

He was scared to death

 

The officer told me “go”

I saw my way out

That all happened a year ago

That’s how my journey started out
