men holding white, black, and red Men of quality respect womens equality banner on road

The article I read was “Who should change” and it includes that men need more self control and should have more respect over women. It explains how women are more than just a man’s pleasure and they go beyond that as women should be treated equally and be shamed for their actions or for how they dress. This article shows the right and wrong for men and how they should never take advantage of a woman and this should go for every single man.

I agree with this article as I believe that this goes with double standards and why women should be more conservative compared to men and not get bashed for it. I also feel like it is men that should change their view on women as society is evolving so should their perspective. I feel like this is a topic that needs to be heard a lot more often as more women are becoming victims and men are most likely to be the rapists. If there were more discussions with males about the obvious that this is wrong I do believe things could have a lot better outcome.

I believe that not all men are bad, but there are a lot of men that are. I do believe that men should change and help make spaces safer for them and if they hear their friends catcalling women they should tell them that it’s not cool. Women are oftentimes talked over and ignored when this happens men should stand up for their right to be heard. If we all work together we can make the world a safer place for everyone.

Mayra, honestly I don’t know what world you live in but I don’t think you’ve met the right people. You are already being stereotypical that all guys use women for pleasure and how they are rapists. I thought you were the one talking about change, I think you need to think about change when you are stereotyping men. I’m not trying to disrespect you or your opinions. At the end of the day I have said my opinion and you said yours and I respect that.

Dear Mayra
I am agree with your post, “Men need to change” because this is an issue that is very important and society hardly talks about it, which is an issue that should matter more since it is seen very often.

One sentence you wrote that strikes me is “it includes that men need more self-control and should have more respect for women.” I think this is interesting because we must all know that women are not only a pleasure for men or that we only have to serve them, we also deserve respect and affection and not because of how we dress or because of our actions we are bad and This topic is very common among men since they do not know how to treat a woman equally and men must understand that we are already in the middle of the 21st century and that we will no longer remain silent.

Thanks for your writing. I hope to see what you write next.

Dear Mayra,
I enjoyed your writing , “Men need to change,” because it talked about real life situations we need to address more frequently.
One sentence you wrote that stands out for me is: “I also feel like it is men that should change their view on women as society is evolving so should their perspective. ” I think this is true because everyone and everything in society is changing nowadays, and people need to learn to keep up with things nowadays, especially with their thought process. Men need to understand that these are different times, and that women are no longer going to put up with topics that used to be unspoken.
Thanks for your writing. I look forward to seeing what you write next.
